Very well said. In general, very slight cut back (-300 calories per day) on calories vs. BMR and burn the rest on physical activity. Ever since I've been doing it the right way, my hair has thanked me.

I just completed my first mile! Well one and a quarter but who's counting? Oh wait.. anyhow - like odc, the wind kicked up my asthma, but that won't stop me. That's what albuterol is for. I do plan to hit my treadmill later today too to start the Couch to 5k. I'm so excited and ready to pay my respects.
