The yoga swing sounds like fun!

You can Google TRX exercises for beginners and that's a great place to start. You can also check YouTube, there are tons of great videos to help you out too. =)

I also do it any time I feel like I want to move it :) its fun so it's easy to do while watching tv.

I personally use it as either a 5 min warm up before strength training or roughly 10 minutes or more for straight cardio. You can log it under cardio. It burns 100 calories per 10 minutes (10 cal a minute) according to all the research I have read on the subject :)

It used to work for me, as well. I ended up taking my prescription Movicol and it helped.

There seems to be a bit of controversy over weighted hoops. Some articles I've read stated that weighted hoops can cause injury (aside from the obvious bangs to threshing or it landing on your toes) I've done both and OWE! I started with a weighted hoop, but quickly moved to a large unweighted hoop.

I can relate to everything 1000% percent. I have IBS-C and UC. I can't eat many of the foods I used to love and contrary to popular belief, I CANNOT eat high fiber foods (they make the -C worse and cause major bloating) I also can't eat the commonly touted whole-wheat type products, they make everything worse. I'm also…

I'd love to learn almost all of them :) one day, I would love to at least try a fire hoop.

Wow, you are awesome to sell them for that price :) there truly is no need for some people to dish out big bucks, that's for sure. I'll create a separate discussion where you and others who make hoops can offer your wares :)

Their Xmount looks awesome, but I just use the over the door mount. My doors are rather flimsy, but It works without a problem and the TRX hasn't left a trace of wear on the door or the frame. You could even use it on your front door (which is usually a thicker and heavier door).

I added my training under strength, but there currently isn't a good way to add the exercises. I use a KiFit, so I could monitor the difference before and after training, but I usually get too into the workout before I remember to look. I may contact TRX and see what they suggest. If so, I'll post it here :)

I can list a bunch of reputable websites tomorrow (it's bedtime here in Sweden). You can make yourself one very easy, but making it actually weighted can be tricky. I can post the tutorial links tomorrow, as well. I made a few large hoops without added weight and I find it makes me work harder and that's a good thing :)

Congrats on the inch loss =) It is a lot of fun and very addictive!

It truly is a lot of fun. I never got the hang of hooping when I was a kid, but starting out with a weighted hoop does help. I can actually use a not weighted one now, but it takes practice. I find it very fun =) I often stand in front of the TV or stream some music an just go. Plus, with my current knee situation, it…
