  • I broke my back and have limitations, too. I bought an in-expensive and easy to fold recumbant bike from Walgreens web site. It was only $120.00. I can do this while watching television or reading, it gets my heart rate up. I'm not getting into rock star shape but it is helping me whittle my middle and legs down.
  • Try in ten minute intervals. I played tag with my kids at that age, and ten minutes is a long time, when constant running after little ones. I'd also do walks on your lunch breaks. I know I don't get too sweaty when it's only for 10 minutes plus, I have time to eat. I also keep a set of hand weights in my office.
  • All, I can say is "way to go" for that year you went with out chocolate! That is amazing. There are serious chemical reactions that go on in your mind and body when you have chocolate. It gives you a mood boost and increases various levels of positive neurons. I don't have an answer for you but do know that pure will power…
