  • wow! 6 miles is a long way! I am proud of your success! I hope I can find mine!
  • it is hard to enter ab workouts, you can add your own in the "add exercise" link and put what you think you burned make your own label for it...like "abdominal- 20 reps" I think there is "crunches" and then a "weight lifted" and "reps" If not using any extra weight I just put in 10lbs because I figure my upper body weighs…
  • Yep, right here. My grandparents came right off the boat here. Lived a starved life in OK before it was officially a state and then moved west to CA! There they had 3 children (one my red headed mother) which in turn gave me my red headed daughter!:drinker:
  • KINECT!! hands down! no controllers to break, it is wonderful for use with the Biggest Loser! it tracks your body and adjusts to your needs and ability and the kids love all the games they now have for it!
  • I LOVE MINE! it never falls off! I run, jumping jacks, jump rope, and it makes me very aware of all my movement and how much more I can do in a day! It pushes me to take the stairs at work to get a new "badge" for most stairs in a day. It syncs with MFP and shows me real progress! it does not keep track of miles on the…
  • I only found any weight loss by eating 1200 calories TOTAL a day!! a majority of my days I NEVER eat back my exercise calories. The biggest thing is being SURE about the calories you are REALLY burning and being SUPER careful about what you log, do not forget anything and if anything OVER ESTIMATE your calorie…
  • Everyone needs to add their email so they can be added on fitbit. then keep "bumping" this to the top of the posts!! Laurahubk@gmail.com
  • I link mine with MFP to get a better picture of my burn and I dont want to enter everything twice!! I dont like that fitbit does not log "miles" on the treadmill~

  • I am taking Complete Nutritions CTS360 program and a protien shake from there called SMART smoothie. I had been stagnant in my weight loss for over a month, when I added this program I have lost 7 lbs in 15 days! SO I am keeping with it for the 30 days. After that I am not sure how I will continue. I WAS a firm believer…
  • Peanut Butter! 2tbs 190 calories! Stay at 1200 calories a day BEFORE your work out calories. I sometimes go over if I am famished, but I do not eat back my "earned calories".
  • completely lovely! I am 5' 10" and was up to 194 before I felt overwhelmed. I was always tall and skinny till I let it go. I would love to be 171 as well! puts things in perspective when I complain about being 182 right now. I am on my way to 155 (still 30 lbs more than I weighed most of my young life) and I think I will…
  • to be extremely sexy, hot! a thin abdomen and to get my breasts lifted so that they look like they did when I was 21.
  • stretch! stretch! keep working out! it goes away faster!
  • I am on week 5 day 1. but my 5 k is in two weeks. I think I will dowell though! add me if you like...anyone!

  • I love the SMART Smoothie from Complete Nutrition in Vanilla Bean. I mix it with 8 oz of Trop 50 orange juice, ORANGE JULIUS! YUM!!!
  • I have seen a dietitian. this is an EASY way to watch for sugar. It is not so much the "sugar" on the numbered label. Greek yogurt has sugar in it, but it is not bad sugar. look for the word "SUGAR" in the ingredients. If something has 24g sugar then look right at the ingredient list, if the word sugar, dextrose, or…
  • I dont know how tall you are, but 1600 calories seems like too much. I do not eat back my earned calories, I eat right at the recommended 1200 for the day and that is how I have been finally been able to move the weight!
  • I am 5'10 and on my way from 190 to 155!
  • I started putting in the number on the machines, you are right they are way less on the machine! I bought a fit bit at fitbit.com and it really does a good job of telling me actually how many calories I burned for real. It still takes into consideration the amount of calories I said I burnt from machines and minuses them…
  • I have been struggling with this question too. I went to a dietitian and she said no matter what not to fall under 1200 calories a day. It was hard to eat 1200 calories a day when I had trained myself to eat less, I was maybe making 900 a day or so. BUT< Bingo!! when I ate close to 1200 calories a day I finally dropped 1.5…
  • I went to see a dietitian today, it was nice to have this log to show her (lucky also that I work in a hospital and got this advice for free) she told me that I was not eating enough, I was in the minus for too long and that YES I should eat back my earned calories in general, but try not to go over 1400 calories a day…
  • this site has been a journey of discovery with food. I keep an open diary. Feel free to friend me if you like. I will send a request your way!!
  • I was guessing that it might not go over well here. But my thoughts also went to those people like me that have spent a majority of their "young" life being fit and active only to get "paid back" with a slowed metabolism and weight around the middle and lower body that they just cant move. I dont like the "idea' of taking…
  • Ruby, It seems to me that everyone posting here is a bit snarky. I know what you are trying to ask. I also tend to stay under my calorie count for the day, especially when I work out a lot. The key is finding the right balance of nutrition for the day. Make sure you are filling your quota for protein, potassium, and…
