I microwave the oats and water, always using a 2/1 water oat ratio with a pinch of salt for two minutes. I chop up an apple and let that cook in there as well. Then I add a little cinnamon and some walnut pieces and a half teaspoon of sugar after the cooking.

I dice up a sweet apple and toss that in to cook with the oatmeal. Then some walnuts or flax seeds after it's cooked.
