I've logged in 600 days, not quite 2 years but close! Lost 70 pounds and have kept it off by messing with my daily calories. 1600 one day, 1300 the next...careful to stay at main thence levels or less over he course of the week. Can be done!

Broil a low carb tortilla/wrap on both sides till crispy- add toppings and broil a sec til melted....eat h whole thing...it's my lunch lost everyday!

I don't consciously have cheats, I wake up every day and know I can't. That being said, I will have a HANDFUL a popcorn at the movie, a BITE of cheesecake when I'm out with my girls, lick the frosting off the knife when I cut a birthday cake....etc. I don't ever take my own personal " cheat" portion. 37 and have lost 65 pounds in 7 months just by being diligent with MFP! Almost to goal with 4 pounds to go...but will continue forever with it due to health reasons. Good luck to you, I love to cheerlead!

I've been doing low carbs, 1200 calories, and have lost 44 pounds in 4 months. Some days I eat more carbs....then eat none....then try a day or two at 1000 calorie, then a few at 1400.....I think you hav to mess with your routine or it gets stagnant.

It's possible but depends on how you're going about it. I have lost between 10-12 pounds on average per month since starting my program. Of course, the more you have to lose, the quicker it comes off....when you get closer to your goal, it's much more difficult! Good luck!

Mine is 1530....my understanding is that the difference of your bmr and caloric intake is what you'll essentially be burning every day.
