I confess I do it to mess with people heads..Anyone fancy some Mcdonalds fries? Only 15 calories!

I disagree there are people who are eating above their BMR and losing. If you understood the reasoning I am assuming that instead of eating at 1200 you would have at least tried to eat past your BMR net of 1677. True success comes from KEEPING it off after.

Eating alot more than 1200 net worked for me. I started losing when I went up to 1800 and ate exercise calories on top of that. Instead of guessing what works for you try calculating your BMR and your TDEE then eat 15% less than your TDEE and never below your BMR. Don't know what I mean? Read the sticky posts in this…

Just stand rigid and have someone push you around while you wear rollerskates and your modesty will be assured. Make sure your assistant buys you drinks with long straws so you dont have to bend or lift your arms.

I can't read your profile its blank to public view so that information isn't available but your diary is open. Maybe its worth mentioning your eating disorder on an open profile (if MFP allows it) so supportive posters will be informed and can decide if encouraging you with comments like "dont worry you can lose that 3…

Checked your diary. You fairly consistently net under 1200 calories and you are surprised that you are having a binge day? Be kind to your body and stop undereating it will help level your moods and lower binge behaviour.

Don't underestimate the powerful amount of good produced from a short gentle walk. She is carrying alot of weight on a smaller frame and so to start with even around the block is a great start. If she is battling a serious disease like cancer she may not have the energy to do much. Programs like the biggest loser and the…

This is a great clearly explained post. Just what we needed for the board.

Tone? Forget "tone". Squats and lunges with decent weight will resculpt your butt into a masterpiece! If you suffer from genetic flat butt you need to build up a considerable amount of muscle in that area. Thats where lifting heavy is your friend.

I am gluten and diary intolerent and have cut them out of my diet for 45 days now. All binge eating behaviour and cravings stopped dead when I did. My energy levels went right up and no more stomach upsets. If you don't have an intolerance I have no idea how it will effect you. Anyway it perfectly possible to have a…

No idea what is going to happen once I have lost 100 pounds. At 43 I am sure that I am not going to bounce back like I would at 20, a lot less collagan in the skin. So I read a lot and I have a plan in place to at least minimize what I will face at the end. I am losing slowly, I use coconut oil on my skin after a shower…

Have a pair of skinny jeans that last week I couldnt even get over my calves. Now they are half way up my thigh. I'm going to try those suckers on every week until they are pulled up, zipped and I can walk in them. (Don't want to look like a pudgy robot so being able to walk normally in them forms part of the goal.)

Your diary isnt open You havent given your height or activity level. Dont know your start weight or how much you want to lose. I am losing weight faster after calculating my BMR and my TDEE then never going below my BMR. I aim for a small deficit of 15% below my total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). I was stalled or…

I am lactose and gluten intolerant. So I do live without icecream!. I dont usually have packaged foods and most processed stuff is off my list as everyone seems to want to add gluten! I have been meeting my calorie goals at eating 1800. 2100 is a bit more of a challenge. My diary is open if you want to have a look. Oh yeah…

Don't be fooled by the avatar pic I have that up for inspiration. I am the same age as you and started at 112 kilos. I am finding greater success since I have upped my calories. So it isn't just for those with small amounts to lose. Started needing to lose 100 pounds, now its 84 pounds to go. Friend me if you like we can…

Yep happier. I think certain foods really effect my mood as well. Eating healthy agrees with me.

My stats Age 43 Height 167 cm SW 112 kilo CW 106 kilo GW 62 kilo BMR 1771 TDEE 2431 TDEE -15% 2067 (2431-364) So my goal is to eat 2067 cal a day PLUS all my exercise calories. I started off at 1200 calories and lost weight but also started getting gallbladder symptons which can be triggered by very low cal diets. So I…

(Reply to Sloanie) Just pulling all the info together then we can figure it out. Ok so you started off at 1200 and have been stalled for a number of months. You have been on and off diets for many years which I am assuming were low cal diets? 5foot 1 Weigh about 125lbs Goal lose another 12lbs 1924 calories is your…

I had gall bladder pain which can be triggered by a very low cal diet. Once I upped to 1400 that stopped. I am eating between 1800 to 2100 before exercise calories now and still losing weight. Lots of energy. (Actually weight loss stalled when I was at 1400 -1600) I am 100 pounds overweight at the moment. So dont go by the…
