Yep add me <3 . It seems daunting but others have achieved it so we can too.

Thanks so much! I have a few friends I need to show this to.

Wow wish someone had said that to me a decade ago. <3

^^this and most of the other posts on this thread. So many red flags in your post. This guy is NOT your friend. He is however very talented at manipulating you. If you end up back with him you will spend the rest of your life apologizing for a long list of imagined transgressions. It's not about you doing something wrong.…

I knock it on the head by treating it as an opportunity to overshare about my health issues and weight loss journey. Down to the last boring detail. No one who has gone through this once has ever come back for a second dose. Just keep talking until you see the unshed tears brimming and you're done.

^^ This and - I do the same. I love spreadsheets and attaching graphs so I can see the trendline. Its fun and keeps me motivated. It doesn't take that long to do. I still have time to exercise, socialize, and get all my life things done. Designing a fitness lifestyle should be about tailor fitting it to suit your…

via Imgflip Meme Maker Two glasses of low fat lactose free milk & two bananas puts me at 56 for the day without counting what ever else I may eat. I keep track of sugar because I am prediabetic and have another health condition that means I have to keep my fructose intake lower than most people. 84 spread out for the day…

^^ All of these It takes me seconds to weigh what I eat and losing weight has become no big deal. I thought it would be hard but so far its just math. I like eating without wondering if my last bite was too much food. It's freeing and makes me happy. Every time I weigh my food I know I am finally making good progress.

Using ketchup in pad thai? That must be an american thing. I've never seen that before.

Ok just checking the menu , maybe don't order their green papaya salad they put tomato in it? No just no.
-
Thai food is my absolute favorite! Pad Thai and green papaya salad so so good.

You can't beat weighing your food for greater accuracy and peace of mind. Still use the plates until you have trained your eye to measure what a portion should look like. I eat a lot of salads too as I am often time poor and don't want to spend ages cooking. If you are used to eating big portions throwing some cooked…

I've lost 9.5 kilos (20.94 pounds) in 63 days. So that is a fifth of the weight I need to lose gone already! Its a good start to the year. 40 more kilos (88.19 pounds more to go), 25- 30 kilos of that I am planning to lose this year. (55 - 66 pounds). I am expecting the last 10-15 kilos to come off very slowly so hopefully…

Once I got into a routine the logging food turned into not such a big deal. The rewards of weight loss and improved energy levels really helps. For me I have to eat fairly restrictively not because there is anything wrong with eating junk food within reason but because I have health issues that manifest within 15 minutes…

This is now my favorite thread. Just let me give you a lucky pat to motivate myself.

1.8 is awesome (assuming you are not crash dieting and losing lean body mass like crazy.) Almost two of these a week - Which soons adds up to this -

High magnesium foods, also its a good idea to buy a portion of chocolate that fits into your goals so you don't end up demolishing a whole family sized block before you can say "binging frenzy".

Ok, as the first sentence is primarily addressed to me - you deserve an apology - it wasn't clear about your knowledge/history in the OP. Your pride can remain intact. I'm glad your experience was excellent and your are spending a few weeks to work on stability and imbalance. One suggestion from a cyclist - please…

I've had enough down time from sickness so I am all for the injury prevention angle. I wasn't aware that 5x5 was harder on the body than other lifting programs so that is good to take into account. I'm all about the safe side, my goals are about seeing progression in the long term. As for "the 8-12 reps isn't exactly pink…

Ok back from the session To those discussing that I was unable to describe the trainer's program other than its x 12 which means that I am incompetent to access a trainer, I would just like to clarify (for my prides sake) that was ALL he said to me while booking the first initial consult. It was a 1 minute conversation. I…

Can't really tell with a closed diary.

No he wants me to do 3 months of what he has in mind. I think he has "assessed" me at a glance and already made his decision. Ill know more in a few hours.

Thanks for your feedback people. I will let you know how it turns out after my appointment tomorrow.

<3 I love, love your arms and the difference in your photos are amazing. I really don't want to do any cardio at the gym I find it really boring. I prefer walking (hopefully going back to running once I am at a weight that my knees can handle it) and I've dusted off my old racing bike which didn't collapse under my weight…

Thanks for your replies guys, its good advice My goals are not this but this - and my inspiration is this - I don't see any women heavy lifting at this gym and their women's program is all machines and cardio so I am slightly worried.
-
I haven't paid yet but I was hoping to go into the discussion with a bit more information and confidence so I could stick up for what I would really love to do. I think he would listen if I was assertive enough.

Hangry much? Carbs will help that.
-
One day you will burn in clean eating hell. Repent all you white refined carbohydrate imbibers!

Thats pretty near to my diet, due to having IBS I have to be low FODMAP. I might check out some of the paleo sites for recipes. If it wasn't for my health condition though nothing would separate me from my first love.. ice cream.
