New to Keto - doing great so far. 2nd month, and I'm down 10 lbs. LONG way to go. If anyone wants to add me as friend, please do - I could use support, and friends. Thanks! I'm from the hill country of south Texas, ride a bike (my picture shows my bike), love to walk.

What about tomorrow?

Eating nothing IS the best solution, but I don't think it is reasonable (at least not at first). Celery sticks, rice cakes, low to no calorie items with lots of crunch, will help. It's mindless chewing that is helping the 'juices' flow in your brain. One other thought - take the snacks that you would want to nosh on while…

Starting in the morning! I am going for a goal of 3 miles a day, stretch goal of 5 miles. I've been making 2 miles, so I should be able to do this.

Is it okay to walk? I'm not really a runner (no matter how much I stretch/warm up, my shins don't like the running). If not, please let me know, and thanks! I am from the south Texas area (hill country)

it could be the Hcg injections - the doctor does them. While on the injections, you eat 500 to 1000 calories a day (depends on several factors); the Hcg causes the body to burn about 2,500 to 3,000 calories. You can be on it for no more than 40 days, and then the following 21 days, you continue to not eat starch and sugar,…

My link - please add me! http://www.fitbit.com/user/22ZCHY roselover58 is my username. I bought the original FitBit, and when the One came out, I got that. Learned that you CAN put one in the washing machine, and it will still work (would not recommend it). I kept losing it though, so when the Force came out, I got that. I…

MyFitnessPay and FitBit does link - you just won't see the details if you enter on MFP. You see the totals for each meal, which is good enough for me. The food section on FitBit isn't as developed as MFP.

I have had all the 'generations' except the Flex. I like seeing the readouts. I love my Force - so easy NOT to lose!!!

My VitaMix is over 20 years old, and it showing it's age. I came on this thread to figure out which one I needed - I think I'll go with the Magic Bullet. When it wears out, then I'll get the Nutribullet.

Just ordered it - partly because I think it will work, and I need some help, and partly because I am doing some research on weight loss programs. Glad to hear that others have tried and succeeded

Thank you! I was dreading eating dry greens!

I weighed 188 when I had my daughter. Last year, I actually hit below 188! I have gained back a bit, but I know I can do it. Oh, yeah - my beautiful daughter just turned 25...

To some, oatmeal can cause inflammation. If, after eating it, you feel bloated, or the scale goes up, then you might be one of the ones who can't eat it. Listen to your body - everyone is different.

Howdy all! Working on a research paper (holistic health major), and came across "The Plan." Awesome read, makes perfect sense, and decided to try it (even putting hubby on it). Glad to see there is a group, because I might have questions!

Never head of the flavor packets - do you get them at the regular grocery store?

Just had my birthday, need to get back on track. This should help!

I LOVE your response!!!! I remember when I was expecting, and I was in one of those moods. Some poor guy got in the lift with me, and asked how far along I was. I just stared at him, not saying a word. Not blinking. I think he learned the lesson - you don't ask, even if you see the head crowning...

I had one, but I lost it . However, I lost it while unpacking, so it's not because it fell out of the holder. I used to lose it with the holder and everything - it is very small. I bought a new one - the new holder is better. I like it because it has a silent alarm on it - it buzzes against your skin at the time you want,…

Elaborate, please?

Same here - my husband knows, and is very supportive. People at work know I am trying, but I don't give them updates. I'm waiting for the day I hear, "Wow!!!" from my workmates.
