I did 1500 to 2100 a day (depending on how I felt). Dropped the weight I wanted and improved my cardio to where I can ride my bike 200 to 300 miles a week. I found the MPF calculator was inaccurate for me. Its a tool. If it works for you, than fantastic, but it is not the end all/be all.

The largest ball of tape and an ostrich egg.

:drinker: rock on! Gave up nothing, but worked at not over indulging and getting the right balance of the good stuff.

You're ex? Don't talk to him or point towards his penis and laugh. Either will work.

I didn't (at least I didn't very often). I just wasn't hungry enough to eat back all the calories.

Its this kind of information that'll the weight loss hucksters fight every day!

You recognize that you want to make a change. You'll find out that sometimes the change you make doesn't work. Don't let that discourage you. Find what works and keep at it. Good luck!

Great work!

I also weight myself everyday. It does keep me motivated and fucused. It didn't take long to ignore the day to day fluctuations, but putting the numbes in graphic form makes a nice downhill slope.

"You're going to need a bigger boat" What can I say. I'm motivated by the classics.

I've hit 200 a few times and bounced back up to 215 (still a far cry from the 285 I started with) so it looks like I probably belong in the low mid 200s

I want to be a great white shark. I've always wanted to try hunting seal

Did you also know that 92.45% of all statistics are made up on the spot  Aside from that tidbit. You put to much stock in what other people have to say. You need to put a little bit of focus on the very few people who's opinions actually matter. 50 is great and if you let other peole define it as something else,…

I drink it all the time. In fact, I switched from regular to diet right before I got on the weight loss process. Dropped 80 pounds. No more blood pressure medication. Knees feel like they did twenty years ago. Still drink lots of diet soda. Whats really bad for your is coffee. Pure swamp water. Yuck!

Weight is sugjective in this context. I'm six one so my 202 is stretched over a bit more area than someone who's five seven (then there's the whole male/female dynamic). With that said, I bike. Lots of biking. Anywhere from 120-300 miles a week outside in good weather and several hours a week inside during the winter.

I'm going to pig out! One day is not a deal killer for me and I'll be right back on the program Friday.

Awsome!

Those better choices add up!

I learned long ago to not get tied to calories per day. I do much better with a calorie count for three days. I do fine if I have less then 1K for a day or two if I have 3K another. Doesn't happen often, but it works for me. Anything thats to regimented is going to fail (for me) - another truth that it took me decades to…

If I can get through these holidays as well as I intend to, I'm going to call it a great year. I hope everyone else remembers to have fun and if you happen fall off the horse is get right back on the next day.

That scale always says it doesn't account for body type - so why read it as though it applies to you?

I've had many cats over the decades and will have more as they pass away (old age gets them every time). Neutured and declawed every one of them. Having a cat is a worthwhile thing to do. I like that we can leave load up the food and water dispensers and bolt for a couple days and know they're perfectly fine.
