I have a chart in the bathroom and take down my weight every morning. Somtimes up, most often times down. I like seeing the graph over time. It keeps me motiviated.

Just got back from a 34 mile bike ride.

I'm mostly the opposite. I'm more motivated during the weekend than during the work week. Since I chart my weigh and measurements at home on an easily accessible graph I often walk over to it and look at where I was and where I want to be. Knowing that going back to bad habbits will reverse those lines keeps me from doing…

Chips and sweets. They are the only things I cannot take in moderation. I just need to avoid them as much as possible.

A lot of us think that food makes us feel better when we're low. Maybe while we're chewing its true, but it never really makes things better. If you can break the mirage of food = feel good then binges can be avoided.

What you describe is a recurring theme. Almost all of us had to 'start over' a few times. The alternative of doing nothing is just not acceptable (or you wouldn't be making this effort). Good luck!
