1 cup of 100% Whole Grain Old Fashioned Oats 1/4 to 1/2 of a chopped up apple (Gala or Fuji are good choices) 1-2 Tbsp of brown sugar 1 Tbsp of honey. Adds a decent taste to otherwise boring oats, and is much healthier than any store bought junk.

If you are going to use soy, look for fermented soy. It is the only healthy version. Coconut oil is great for cooking to, if you can find it.

I just started eating it and really like it, but it has a very distinct texture that is different from rice. I like it with either real butter, salter, pepper, basil and garlic or just cover it with a little bit of natural honey. I think both taste great.

Steak is great for you, but how you prepare and eat it is the issue. Yes it has saturated fats, but those alone are not the problem.
