I am also suffering from this and have been for years. Thanks for all the posts. If anyone would like to look at my food diary and make suggestions I'm always open. I'm thinking I will start with more Iron.

I'm excited for you, we leave in less then 3 weeks for a 7 day cruise. I agree with everyone else, don't stress too much. I have found that I do alot of walking, to and from room and places on the ship and the sightseeing. Take the stairs whenever possible and enjoy some of the activities on board. I plan to enjoy myself…

I love my fitbit ultra. Unfortunately I'm on my 2nd one, lol I washed the first one after only having it a week. Hopefully I'm more careful with this one.
-
Anyone ever done this?
-
Thanks for sharing I will give it a go. Looks great
-
Yum Can't wait to try some of these. Thanks

I found this page on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/pages/Quinoa-Corporation/139850262711876?fref=ts I've found some good recipes on here.

Awesome Job! Yesterday I couldn't stop eating everything in sight. Thanks to your success (I also started about the same weight) I know I have to keep going. Don't give up. You look great! Congrats!

I added the recipe to my diary and came up with 156 calories per serving. Please don't quote me on this because I have found that sometimes ingredients on here vary alot. LOL

I just googled this and it said it increases in size by 4. LOL So if I cook 1 cup dry it is 4 cups cooked. Does this sound right?

 You could, thats over 6 months away. Having said that remember the last little bit is harder to lose. Don't set yourself up for disappointment. Give it your best and don't give up if you don't make it. Remember "New Lifestyle!" not diet. Good luck and please try to do it healthy.

I set my calorie goal at 1690 (after finally realizing I didn't want to be stuck at 1200, I was hungry). I have been losing about a pound a week sometimes more sometimes less. And I don't feel like I'm starving. Also, learning new foods and trying to stay away from processed as much as possible. My new favorite is Quinoa,…

I just heard about quinoa and last night cooked some in chicken broth and made a pork soup with it. Really easy and very…

It is good cooked with a stock, I made a soup tonight. I would love to hear of other ideas.

Anyone?
-
No ideas? I that I had heard this was a good breakfast option. Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

There is no way I could ever give chocolate up completely. Fiber one oats and chocolate bar is really good, chocolatey and not bad for you. Also I like Lindt Excellence 70% coca dark chocolate, so yummy. They have 85% which I don't like as much and is fewer calories if you really like dark chocolate maybe that or 90%. I…

I agree it would depend on how you have been eating. How many calories you have already eaten for today, excersize etc. If your calories are low I would eat. 500 is alot to have left I feel. But every once in awhile (not very often) I have that many left. But I have my calories set on the high end to loose half a pound a…

This sounds delicious I think I will give it a try. Tonight I had Lindt Excellence 70% cocoa dark chocolate. It hit the spot and not to bad calorie wise.

I agree with some of the other posts avocados and almonds are great. I like Peanut butter with an apple or banana, but can't have it often because of the calories. You can eat healthy and get the calories. Just do some research, look at peoples diaries. See if you can find some people on here around your height and weight…

I agree that you need to eat enough, preferrable healthy food. You can lose weight by eating junk if you are eating at a calorie deficit. But if you eat anything at too low of a deficit chances are your weight lose will slow. Try reading some of the info on eating more to weigh less. I love this thought and since I've…

Yes, if you look at the price for the month it does seem expensive. But look at it as about $3.00 per meal, not so bad. It is very quick when I'm on the move. For traveling it is wonderful because you can just add water and shake. No refrigeration needed. Or if you have access to a blender ( I have a little hand held ) You…

I actually really like it. I did have to stop my order because of the expense. But I have about 3 months left because I wasn't using it daily. Just for something quick and nutritious when I didn't have time or a place to cook. I love adding fresh strawberries or PB2, taste like a shake to me and keeps me full. In fact I…

Yum... Will be trying. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks I will take a look and see if it helps. Thanks everyone.

:blushing: oops. Great I have a new one in route and this will probably happen next. LOL I bought mine on ebay, as well as the 2nd one. Do you think they will still replace it? Probably not because I didn't buy it directly thru them. But I guess I could ask.
