I'd really love more running friends to keep me moving and motivated! Feel free to add me! I've recently begun training for my 1st half marathon and am training and running with teamaspca in October, it's sort of scary but Im Determined that I will get there and compete it!

I'm currently in training for my 1st half-marathon, doing 2 recovery/easy runs per week, one long run, 2 cross-training days and 2 rest days where we do light activities only such as stretching , yoga or something similar. Right now I'm at about 20 miles a week, but slowly increasing in distance and my time is slowly…

Personally, I love the way heels elongate the legs, make your calves pop and emphasize the backside. For a long whole I wasn't able to wear any heel because I had bulging discs in my back do to scoliosis. With that I learned to be fashionable in flat shoes and there are a lot of cute ones. So now, if I'm going to a…

Not sure how to post pics from my phone. But... I get more looks than my kids like when we're out. They all get so mad, it's sort of funny, idk...I guess it could be worse

Tuna pouches! They're so easy and you can keep them anywhere, about a buck each at Target. Also almonds are great, almond milk that doesn't need refrigeration until opening that you can use for cereal, granola etc... Oh and oatmeal, steel cut oats are best but plain Quaker are good too! Peanut butter, multi-grain crackers…

Almost forgot, will probably also slice up an avocado and throw that in as well as a squeeze of fresh lemon juice!

I am having oven-broiled tilapia, seasoned with mustard, oregano, basil, siracha, garlic and fresh ground pepper, with 3-leaf baby lettuces, cilantro, tomato, green chile and a bit of sour cream. I'm making it as fish tacos on corn tortillas for the rest of the family :)

Thank you both! I will look up that stuff and check it all out. I did take one Bodypump class about a year ago and everyone was really helpful, I just got so anxious, but that's a good idea, I think I'll try it again and keep going, gonna look up the class schedule at my gym.

If they've "never" lifted like that before

I've been wondering about this a lot myself lately. I feel like I've hit peak with the cardio equipment and weight pulley machines, they are really good for support though and show you what and how to use them. Not that I've maxed out on weight or anything, just I think you'd get more range and a better overall workout…

I agree, it's motivating and not at all creepy, unless they start sending creepy/unwelcome messages, stuff like that. Otherwise it's all good. I'm finding that the more I work out, the more I appreciate muscles and good looking people, where I never really gave it a second thought before. And what could be better than…

I'm always on a budget, found a decent enough pair at Ross for 5 bucks, I've also seen them at Marshall's and TJ Max for similar pricing. The sporting goods stores are usually way too high on their prices unless I've got a coupon, hope that helps and good luck!

Ok today was my day 1 /12, i say that because i started just yesterday, fell a bit behind and have been feeling so out of it/unmotivated. But today I did do the whole thing! So that's my big accomplishment for the day :)

My name's Michelle and I'm from Southern California. My main motivation for losing weight is regaining my health, mobility and trying to decrease chronic back and hip pain. It's been a slow process and entirely frustrating at times but so worth all the pain and tears! I just keep telling myself, you've come this far don't…

I'll do it, I've done the workout a few times, but skip days in between, it will work best for me if I plan Mon-Fri workouts and leave the weekend out when everyone is home and family life is busy...I think if I can get myself to do the 1st 5 days in a row then it'll give me the drive to keep it up!

I always see the video/infommerical when I'm at the gym and it looks fun, also it looks like it would help me with my dancing problem too, I'm dancing-challenged, LOL :blushing:

Really fantastic results!!! Did you only do the 30 shred or did you also do other additional; exercise, I have got to know! :)
-
Any kind of change takes time, I'd say a MINIMUM of 2 weeks. I'd bet you're building up your muscles right now and WILL notice a difference after the 30 days. I'm on day 3 of the 30 shred and still on Level 1 and my body is sore. Make sure you suck in/squeeze your stomach during the exercises and squeeze your legs glutes…

Oh I have been NEEDING to ask a similar question. Mine isn't cramps but EXTREME exhaustion and fatigue. About a week before it hits me, like I ran into a wall, I attempt to push through that, but then once my monthly visitor hits, I'm down and out for the count. It's bad, really bad, does anyone else get this? And how do…

I think mine would be that I have discovered all these muscles I never knew or saw before! Like my upper arms have this curve now that I've never had in my life, my legs are strong and I can RUN!!! Never been a runner, back in my "skinnier" days I never saw a reason too....the. With my weight gain and back problems I never…
