Im just starting and i was going to do 1600 calories a day and start walking even though MFP said 1200 calories. I need to lose at least 80 lbs!!! I've struggled for a long time. I keep thinking i should do low carb but that isn't realistic in the long run. I could use some motivation.

I have plantar fasciitis and it resulted in a very painful heel spur. I could barely walk on it without crying. Working out doing any weight bearing activity including walking was out of the question. I had a cortisone shot in my heel in April 2013 and it has resulted in a significant decrease in pain. I still have some…

Im also a self professed carb addict! I love my pasta coming from an italian background as well. I have approximately 80 lbs to lose. Ive tried the no carb diets and they are imipossible to stay on long term. I am now just starting back on my weight loss journey and have decided I am still going to eat carbs just in…

Hi I just rejoined last Monday. Survived a whole week! I like you am tired of the roller coaster ride of more ups than downs. Ready to make a change and get my "skinny" healthy body back!. I realize that it is more mind over matter. If you can get your mind set to it, the rest is a breeze! Good luck! Hopefully, my…

I'm 42 years old, 5'2" and 225 pounds at present. My goal is to get to 140 pounds but i would be happy at 150. I agree with kcorcoran4, I know I won't get down to the unrealistic goal of 117 lbs like some sites tell me is my healthy range. I felt good when I was 140 lbs. I feel better and better every day eating healthy…
