I'm trying something different, that I read about on Reddit a while back. I like the idea, and am going to give it a whirl for a while. I weigh myself every morning, and record it in a spreadsheet I created: I don't care about the daily weight, but this way, I can look at a weeks average weight, and compare that to the…

Hey SS, yes, since the beginning of December, where I really haven't been 'careful' with what I've been eating...I've stayed steady right around 245 lbs. Thanks again.

the biggest photo I could find of myself, and probably the best I've looked since. I don't think i've changed much since the last picture... here's a copy of one of the excel sheets I was keeping for a while...the nerdy part of me loves this part of things... and here is another excel doc showing how fast weight came off…

wanting to check this out at home. Thanks OP.

latest comparison. Cheers.

tagging to show the gf. :) Thanks for sharing.

I also weigh myself every day, and have done so for a long time... I created a chart marking the 1st, and 15th of the month. The chart is a bit old...but I'm still progressing. :) Just slower.

tagging to look at the link tonight.

You have no idea how many times I hear this...I never know if it's a good thing or not... Cheers.

here was the first comparison i made: and now the new one: the pictures are a bit wide... right click > view image will show the whole thing. :) Cheers.

Good lord. Will read tonight.

The best gift I got from the girlfriend this year at christmas was a food scale. I think it's nerdy to use it as much as I do, and being that I like numbers, and tracking things...it's no hassle to use it. One of the big finds for me, was how much cheese 28g is. I was seriously amazed at how much 1/4cup really was. I'll…

Being completely honest with myself as of late, I have NOT been tracking everything that I should. I'm sure it's a rather common thing to see changes stop, both on the scale, and measuring tape...and just say 'forget this' for a while. Well, that's what I've done the past few weeks, and my weight really hasn't changed too…

In for more results.

I'm basically in the same boat as the OP, and am going to apply the above to me as well. I DID just recently join the group, and have been a reading crazyman as of late. :) Thanks for the good reads, and thoughts so far, SS. Cheers.
-
Actually, no. Hehe. I'm wondering what you ate, when you started to drop weight.
-
Quick question for you.... At your start weight, what were you eating calorie wise? Thanks.
-
Results speak. Cheers. We're somewhat in the same size right now. I'm 6'3" and currently right around 245, and starting week 7 of stronglifts, altho I'm doing it at home instead of in a gym. Congrats man....you're doing awesome.

The best I have right now.

Looking at my list, it IS missing some leafy green veggies. I could definitely add broccoli to that list as long as I can add just a sprinkle of cheese to them. That's a guilty pleasure of mine for sure. About the breakfast thing, I'm reading quite a bit from Martin at Leangains.com, but definitely not following what he…
