Born & raised! Feel free to add me :flowerforyou: A girl can never have to many friends.

I feel your pain...the first 19 lbs melted off me (started off the New Year at 219 & hit 200 last Saturday), but this morning I was so discouraged to see that I didn't lose anything in the last week :( I know it'll pick back up, just maybe not at the same pace, but it definitely effected my mood this morning. Keep at it,…

My co-worker and I are both on MFP and have been working really hard at achieving our weight loss & health goals. One thing that we started doing after New Years was taking walks. Half of our co-workers are smokers and will go numerous times a day, spending anywhere between 5-15 minutes per 'smoke break'. We felt we were…

^^^this. They feel like walking on clouds, but I've had them for over a year now & haven't noticed any difference in the tone or shape of my legs. There is a specific way that you are suipposed to walk in them, very heel-to-toe using the full length of the sole, and when I'm thinking about it and walk that way I feel it in…

Whe I was 34 I dated a man who was 49. It didn't last very long simply because of his very outdated ideas about the roles of men & women in a relationship, though. I haven't completely ruled out ever dating someone that much older agian, but I'd have to know that he was someone with much more open views before I could…

it was recommended to my mother by her doctor after she had a triple bypass last year. however, we got her some and she said she could taste the difference & just didn't care for it. instead she has just cut her salt intake drastically: never adds table to her foods anymore, reduces any amounts called for in recipes and…

I started it last Tuesday and I def think you should give it a try. Modification is key if you don't think you are up to the full intensity of it :)

I currently have 6 myself: a rose on my left breast, a 9"x4" tie-dyed version of the Aerosmith logo on my lower back which I have a new star added to everytime I see them (8 stars so far), a strawberry on my upper left thigh that is partially comprised of my birth mark that we always called my 'strawberry', twin cherries…

made this recipe this past weekend and I brought leftovers for lunch today....YUM!

just remember that you didn't put all the weight in one day & it won't all come off in one day either. every single day you are working towards your goal of a healthier, slimmer you, you ARE making a difference...whether its discernible to the naked eye or not. add up all those days of little changes and fast forward one…

I do at least 3 times a week. I'm doing the 30 Day Shred, plus on M/W/Fr I do weights & a 40 minute walk with a couple of my guy friends. Then some days I'll throw in a extra walk on my own depending on how much time I have & how I'm feeling.

bump...great respones/recipes so far, can't wait to see what else gets suggested!

My co-workers & I all just started it on the 7th. Tonight will be my 3rd time doing. So far it's kicking my butt, but since that's what I want it to o, I'm loving it! We've been logging it as 20 minutes of circuit training, general. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

i can't possibly imagine anybody having anything negative to say about your pic, your courage or YOU in general....you are absolutely beautiful!!!!

Beautifully put, thank you! And I definitely need to put that quote up in my home...just awesome!

me, too! my end-of-February goal is 199 and as of this morning I'm 4 pounds away! *fingers crossed*

I'm 5'6" (5'5" if you ask my friend's tape measure, lol) and I started off this year at 219. Down to 203 as of this morning & my big goal is 150. I may choose to go lower, but it will all depend on how I look and feel at that point. Feel free to add me if you'd like. We can never have too much support! :flowerforyou:

I recently hit my first 10 lbs lost and MFP automatically prompted me to reset my goals/caloric intake. I did, however, because I still have so much to lose & it was only the first 10 lbs, my daily caloric intake remained at 1200. I will continue to reset/adjust with each 10 lb milestone, but I'm losing just fine right now…

Congratulations! My co-workers & I start the 30 Day Shred tomorrow (one of them went on vaca last week and we are waiting for her to return tomorrow so we will all be on the same page). I have so very much more to lose than you did, but your results are inspirational. I hope that I, too, will one day be able (& brave…

Oh my goodness, thank you for sharing! This gave my co-workers and I a few much needed, whole hearted belly laughs. Thanks for brightening our day just a bit :)

Sounds great, I'm in! But I only log in online (as opposed to from my phone) at work, so i will take my measurements tonight and post them tomorrow. Best of luck everybody!

We all have off days here and there. The key is just not to let one day ruin things for you in the long run. I was well over my calories on both Friday and Saturday this past week, but I just chalked them up to fun, special occasions with good friends, food & drink and made sure that I got back on track Sunday. I did see a…

No need to go shopping, as I have a huge wardrobe of great clothes just waiting for me to get back into them, but when I hit my goal and have fit, toned arms again I plan to get a sexy pin-up tattoo on my right arm.
