Please don't sweat it or get discouraged, Christine. You have been doing such a fabulous job. I love seeing your exercise posts because you KICK BUTT EVERYDAY!! And while you may not see the numbers on the scale changing as rapidly as you'd like, your measurements are definitely showing the progress you are making! I can…

I started of this year with at least 80 to lose & I'm about 46 pounds down at this point. While it has definitely been all up to me to do the work, amke the changes & stay on track to make it happen, I credit MFP with a great deal of it because without it I don't think I would've kept with it or done as well as I have so…

I haven't found a powder that I like yet, (although with so many great recipe suggestions here, I may be willing to pull them down off the top shelf in my pantry & give them another try), but I have found that I really like the ready-to-drink Premier Protein shakes. 160 calories, 30g protein, 3g fat & 5g carbs (only 1g…

My household monthly budget just went down last month by about $850, so I'm about to need to start being very creative and CHEAP with my meals. 'Bumping' this so I can come back later & check out all the great ideas. Thank you!

sounds like a perfect summer dessert, will have to give it a try soon. thanks!

I start heavy lifting this week and I really hope I encounter this problem. Standard issue white girl flat butt over here

Stunning results, congratulations!!! I'm starting the NROLFW this week and am SO looking forward to the added benefits of lifting heavy. I hope they are anywhere near as good as yours! :flowerforyou:

I have had a 32-34 day cycle for years, but every month since I started eating better and exercising regularly, the cycle has gotten shorter and shorter. Last month I started on the 15th and I've already started cramping & my breasts are fairly tender indicating that I should be starting again anytime within the next week.…

Bump so that I can come back later when I have time and see what everybody's recommendations are, yay! :)

This may sound silly, but did you enter a starting weight when you first set up your account? Just troubleshooting over here...

I read somewhere that it burns the same amount of cals as gardening. Gardening is available on MFP as cardio for logging, but I don't because I figure I was having plenty of sex while I was getting fat and it didn't seem to make a difference then. I only log the things I'm doing above & beyond the norm specifically to lose…

I started off with a goal of roughly 80 lbs (no firm number set in my head, just a basic range). I'm 46 lbs down since New Years & have another 30-35ish to go. It's been a fun journey so far & I'm looking forward to the rest!

I'm also in TX & experiance this regularly, but since I 've been here my entire life I just figured it was normal every where. Luckily, since trying to get in shape this year, I routinely avoid this by parking as far back in the parking lot whenever possible. I figure that it is quite little the 'extra little steps' I'm…

Everybody is welcome here, no matter how big or small, no matter how much they feel they need to lose. We are all about SUPPORT here!!!! Please feel free to add me if you would like. I have a great circle of friends here and I try to spread the wealth whenever I can. So glad you found MFP...I think it will be a great asset…

I'm so sorry to hear this! I hope you have a safe & speedy recovery. In the meantime though, I would recommend sticking with a healthy eating plan and work on the upper body....pump those smaller weights while sitting on the couch watching tv & what not. Ask your doctor what kinds of things he would receommend for you to…

Our household budget is about to change drastically since my youngest will graduate high school at the end of the month and child support will stop. I have been stressing a lot over how I am going to manage to still cover all our monthly bills & feed us on what I make alone. Thank you guys for all the great ideas!

bump to remember this later. thank you!

I just recently began eating FFCC (I hated it as a kid) and my fave way so far has been with fruit (blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, mango, canteloupe, you name it) with about a half pack of Stevia in the Raw mixed in. Best dessert or snack I eat this days :)

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I have a friend who just today has been discouraged and is ready to give up because her stupid scale has not moved in 2 months. I am going to send her the link to this post so she can know that others (many others) also experience the same frustrations, but it doesn't mean progress is…

bump. no time to read the full post right now, but I'm SO looking forward to coming back and checking this out later. I would LOVE to do one :)

And shoes. Don't forget shoes. But, yes, life will be so much easier when everybody accepts that food, beer, shoes and sex are all that really matters :drinker:

^^^this. Lifting heavy will actually put a little bit of weight back on your numbers-wise, but it's going to make everything so much more toned & svelte and the muscles you are building will help you burn away the tummy flab. Get 'The New Rules of Lifting for Women'. You & your abs will never be the same, I promise!…

When I graduated elementary school at 89 pounds I was already a full C cup, but even at the size/age/weight I was never less than a 28 band. As an adult my weight has ranged from the high 120's to 226 at my heaviest and my bra sizes from a 34D to 42FF. I sincerely doubt that even when I make it to my goal of the mid 130's…

Love it! But I can honestly say that the discrimination can sometimes go the other way, as well... A week ago I was walking with a good friend, one of my work-out buddies and 2 young, fit, beautiful blonde women ran past us. They got about 5 houses ahead of where we were and turned into the driveway, apparently having…

^^^this. I just recently started doing this and it is SOOOO yummy! sometimes I do it with just plain melted coconut oil and sometimes I stir a little bit of PB2 into it. MMMMMMMMM, peanut buttery coconut-y goodness
