I'm with you too...I lost 37lbs and have gained back 20 over the summer. Just geeting back on the horse again myself, but it's a struggle to start with!!

When I was much thinner a few years ago, a number of colleagues kept saying to me that I was too thin and that that they'd "seen more meat on a butcher's pencil"!! Erm...gee..cheers! :noway:

Giving it a go...thanks so much for the video too :) ETA: Dear God...just watched the rest of the video and it looks killer! Cannot believe you struggled when you first started, although that gives me hope!!!

He he...brilliant!

Sounds about right to me too. Look at what your FT7 shows your heart rate to be during your workout. Mine is always around 185bpm, going up to 200bpm sometimes and in an hour of that I can burn 800 calories or more! And yes, I'm dripping, red faced and panting at the end of it!
-
They're going it without you now!! Do you feel used and abused?!!? I'd say Yoovie too tho
-
Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!
-
WOW...good effort!!!
-
Well done, that's A-MA-ZING!! Exactly the same stats as me now, so there's hope!! Currently 150, maybe 151-152 after birthday weekend, but hoping to get back to around 120 :ohwell: Thank you :flowerforyou:
-
Soooo glad you put that! I got my Polar FT7 on Monday and have had average heart rates of 177 and 172, with max's of 195 and 187. According to whatever calculation it is, that's above my max for my age! Was a bit worried I might keel over sometime soon lol
-
Yeah, I wondered that too, but I think someone missed the "quote" bit on your post!! You no talk poo poo, Jester - it was what was written above you!!
-
Massive well done for getting through the past year - I'll keep an eye out for ya!!

Wicked read and wicked story :flowerforyou: I have to admit I carried on reading initially because my friend has been diagnosed with PCOS and is REALLY struggling to lose weight in order to get better treatment, but I really related to your change in attitude towards going to the gym too:drinker: Strange as that seems to…

I've read some great stuff by Banks and was really disappointed when I saw that the user was no longer registered - nice to see you ARE on here still..."hi!"
-
You're losing at the same rate as me. I was disheartened and wanted/expected quicker results, but now I'm 15 weeks in and am focussing on the great feeling I get from realising how much my fitness is improving and it's actually at a sustainable rate too. Keep going, and well done!

I was going to say the Lloyds Pharmacy one - I've not got one but have heard and read good things about it - I think it's about £12.99, in fact hang on...yes...and here's the link http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/lloydspharmacy-watch-and-heart-rate-monitor-35281 ETA: It DOES also have a chest strap...

Well done, that's amazing. Congratulations - you look great - a huge change :noway:
-
Firstly, you look A-MA-ZING!! Secondly, You Tube is a great idea, or the fitness DVDs that are bandies around a lot on here like 30 Day Shred - great for building strength with only your own body weight and some light dumbells (don't underestimate it!) Otherwise, push ups, sit ups, planks etc???
-
Grilled salmon, new potatoes and veg, and I think that's from a Brewsters (if you've not already been for the meal by now lol) ETA: I lied - it's a Beefeater!!
-
I generally try to keep my calories around where they should be but on gym days they are usually a bit under, however it gives me a little more freedom at weekends when I don't go to the gym. I work mine over the week and make sure that my weekly calorie goal is pretty spot on target (to within 50-100 calories) and it…

Unbelievably wicked - well done :noway:

That's awesome - well done. Need a bit of that myself!

Wow...well done - that's fantastic. Do you mind me asking how tall you are please - you have the same start and end figures as me, and look great :)
-
Whoa...well done!!! :-)
-
Seriously, that is UNREAL. Excellent work, I'm sure you've worked really hard but this has GOT to show it's been more than worth it. Unbelievably brilliant results, well done. x
