That's really cool! It's crazy how much the weight can add up and we don't even realize it. Amazing job!

Enjoy it! It's so worth it. I definitely lost inches in my waist. Unfortunately, I wasn't recording anything so I can't share progress info :( But I can tell it was working. I could feel it in my clothes, my muscles, everywhere! Started Insanity last week. It should last me until the end of this challenge. It's brutal, but…

NSV means "Non-scale victory" ;)

That's amazing for only a few weeks!! You should be so proud! Keep it up!!

Wow! You look really great!! Nice job!

Awesome job! Can't tell you how many times I used to run into this problem. As time goes by, it only gets easier (at least it did for me). Well done :)

Bump, I just started yesterday :) Will be posting before/after pics when I'm finished!

Chocolate Fudge Pop Tarts. Yum. ...haven't had one in years and I miss them.

It took me almost exactly a year (1 year today in fact). I started at 156.8 lbs on 1/24/12. This morning, I weighed in at 136.2. Don't worry about how long it takes, the key is patience. Stick to it and it WILL come off :)

I also had to get my ring resized haha, just got it back actually. I'm also ALWAYS cold! I used to hate being hot, it drove me crazy. While I still do, I find I hate being cold even more now (especially in current 25 degree MD weather, ugh)

Go to the Exercise tab and click My Exercises to add your own. They won't get added to whole MFP database this way, but it allows you to customize your workouts if you're doing something that's not on their list. Hope this is what you meant...

I completely agree with this :) My story is quite similar.

Just got a Polar FT4. Lovin' it! Seems accurate, it's not a pain to wear, and it's not too pricey. I did a lot of research before finally settling on this one. It's quite popular and got a lot of great reviews. Purchased on Amazon :)

Cool! Thanks for sharing!

The weekend was tough! It was so hard to avoid bad foods and alcohol at the football party I went to (I love my Ravens!). Got it back together on Monday but I'm going to try not to do as bad this coming weekend. Hope everyone is doing well! Love you guys!

For breakfast, I eat pretty much the same thing every morning (hard boiled egg, yogurt, string cheese, clementine). I keep oatmeal at my cube for days when I need something warm (keep a mug or bowl on hand for when you need it). For lunch, I try to change it up. If I have leftovers from dinner the night before, I'll bring…

Sometimes I grind up almonds and put them on different foods like salads. I've heard some people put them in cottage cheese with some fruit (never tried it but it sounds tasty). I also like grinding up pecans and making pecan crusted chicken (so delicious). I generally snack on almonds, but I really have to be in the mood…

WOW! You look incredible!! Congrats!

Bump, would love to see more pics!

There's a difference between being helpful and being sarcastic. I have no problem with you stating you don't agree with the method. The forums are here so you can help other people or get help, not to entertain yourself by making the OP feel stupid for asking a simple question. Again, you seem to be missing the point...

I'd really love a forum for all the cynics on this site who immediately shut down a those scams with all the research they didn't do on the subject. Just because someone is curious about something (whether it's a scam or not) doesn't mean they're lazy or looking for a magic pill. If you understood what I was trying to say,…

I couldn't agree with you more. Don't let them bother you. They're generally people who have had some success and thus believe they're the bible on weight loss. It's simple arrogance. They also get there kicks from getting a ton of "lol's" from complete strangers on the internet with equally unimpressive credibility. They…

I would definitely try the gluten free diet. From what friends with similar issues have told me, you can't go partially gluten free. It's an all or nothing kind of thing. Otherwise it's just a waste and won't help you. Honestly, you'd be better off asking your doctor how to handle this. He/she would be more qualified to…

I'm gonna try!

You look awesome! Congrats!
