Well there is my problem. I had been eating less then my BMR. NICE. okkkkkk. Maybe I should convert over to the Olivia method. this is all so dang confusing.

i had it set for 2 pounds for the last month but i havent lost anything. so i just decreased it to 1 pound 2 days ago, in which it upped my calorie allowance to 1520/day

good question. I would like to know the same. My BMR is 1616and my calorie allowance is 1520. So which one should I aim for??

I am at three months of NOTHING too. Im down 30 pounds, and have been stuck. its frustrating to see the least.

Meee. I just upped my calories from 1200 to 1520. I have not budged on the scale for nearly THREE months. I am down 30 already (which I lost in 3 months) but now...NOTHING. I know since upping my calories I feel so much more energy. but still NOTHING on the scale. Feel free to add me!

Dang woman. Thats alot of weight. For the dumbbells I usually do 5 and 10 pounds on those. Maybe I need to up it, but like yesterday I was doing 10 pounds in each hand (arm lifts) and I about died after about 12 of them.

why does this have to be so darn complicated. haha. right now, i do some work on the machines (because the boys hog all the free weights), and then do some work on the benches (squats, benchpress). I also throw in some dumbell work.

the first 2 sets I am ok. the third one I can usually only do half.

Thank you! Do you think something as simple as switching up from the stair stepper to elliptical will work.?? Or get off the cardio machines al together for a bit ?

Thank you for taking the time to read through my diary. I agree, I do need more fruits and veggies. How do I reset the amounts ( protiens, cafbs, ect?). What should they be set at??

Thank you everybody. I know sodium is an issue I am really having trouble getting in control. Seems to be in everything I eat. I guess looking back at my diary I am not as consistent as I would have thought to be. I guess I just feel I am doing so much better with my food choices then before ( eating fast food sometimes up…

You think something as simple as just switching a machine will help?? Should I do both strength training and cardio each and every day (strength, roated of course). Am I not putting in enough work at the gym? I wear my HRM and I burn between 400-1000 calories when I go depending on what I am doing that day.

I have MFP set to 2 pounds a week weight loss. So I am given 1200 calories a day.

Yes. I take measurements and I havent seen much of inches lost the the last 2 months. So I dont know WHAT IS GOING ON.

Yes. Sadly I am a creature of habit. So I tend to stick to the same stuff. I do the ARC machine for 30 minutes. Then treadmill. I just started heavy lifting this past week seeing if that will help. I do the ab roller, crunches, jumping jax.

If I Dont eat my exercise calories I am STARVING. Ugh. I hate this. It seems as though I bust my tail at the gym, am pretty good calorie wise...and NOTHING. the first 30 pounds fell off..now im stuck. since before Christmas.

I wanted to add that I am in the gym an average of 6 days a week from 45 minutes to an hour and half. I go over on my calories on some days, but not all that much. I should be seeing SOME movement.

I have the 30DS and am on day 4 of that. I guess I am just getting FRUSTRATED because I have plateaued for nearly two months now. And the only thing I can think of doing that I am NOT is the weights ALL the time. Usually only once a week on the circuit 30 minute express work out.

so much great advise. Yes, the gymn I got to have free fitness people but I thought I would ask here first. We have machines, dumbells, and the benches. I am just realllllllllllly looking for sometthing to burn this stomach fat, and to work on my obliques.

Thank you so much. I will check out the book. Yesterday, I just wandered around and did various weight machines and did 3 sets of 10 on each machine at 55 pounds. But, I was doing total body, not just upper, or lower or whatever.

Thanks for all the tips everyone! I guess I am just looking for the magic answer, and really there isnt one. How long should I aim to weight lift every day?? 20 min? 30 min??
