Why the shift? Was it due to the process not fitting the project need? Agile sounds like a perfect methodology, but (as a tester), I cannot fathom how you can fully test each iteration (especially if you have multiple down stream systems or interfaces, or complex data storage). If you're building a simple software…

There are so many great responses... These are my few thoughts... 1) I agree that the "I love you" part is a little concerning... it suggests that he's seen you before. If it's a truck stop, then it's likely he's semi regular. In this case, for your safety, it's probably a very wise thing to report it... if he is a…

FWIW... I'm a 6'1" female and am consuming 2200 cals at maintenance. 1500 would make me very VERY grumpy. Oh... and if you decide to stick with 1500... then PLEASE eat back your exercise cals. On that big of a deficit... I'd eat them all back, even if they're inflated. The reason why... because you want to look long term…

That 1500 seems crazy low for a 6'2", 238 pound male. What is your desired goal weight? I'm see that you want to lose the 2lb/week "maximum", but I want to suggest something craaaaaaaazy. Why not go for 1lb a week and focus more on strength training. The weights will help build strength and the slower loss may help…

I don't like the scale much either... So I don't use it all the time... But it was worth the experience because it helped me learn. Why not get one and use it here and there. If you're close in your estimates... Then don't use it.

I confess... I wanna get all judgey and tell you to not get something else and kick their butt off the couch. 9 and 13...that's a lot of TV watching. I don't know your life though, so... Good luck with suitable TV alternatives.

you may find you'll get better (more helpful) responses if you give a little more information in your posts. :) What are you looking for from this thread? Sympathizers? Empathy? Advice? Tough Love? Friends?

This may help with how the 1200 is calculated... https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1318741/in-5-weeks-youll-lose-10lbs-why-is-it-not-working/p1 also... a decent digital scale can run about $20 - you'd be surprised how bad your eyeballs are. GET THE SCALE. lol if you want to see what mfp calcs your baseline…

what happens in 3 weeks?

I think in order to be able to help you, we'd need to know a bit more: - age (46) - height - current weight - goal weight - current daily calorie limit - do you log all of your food? (your diary is locked) if so, do you use a scale and measuring cups? - what kind of exercises do you do? (and when you do them, do you break…

I have said this before... and I'll say it again... I am in AWE of you ladies. When I grow up I want to be like you!!! You ladies are so damn amazing!!! #ironenvy

Too many greats lost this year so far. :(

Then I'd recommend no more diets. Instead... Eat the foods you like, track the food you eat, and keep a mild deficit. If you can exercise, even better. It doesn't have to be hell in order to work !

How old are your kids?

There's some really incredible ink in here! This is my only one, but my next one is booked for a month from now!

Your husband burns less than he eats. What he eats doesn't matter as much as how many calories he consumes vs how many he burns. Capoeira is crazy demanding and probably burns a lot of calories. Plus he's got decent muscle mass so that also adds to the amount of calories he burns. He may have good genetics, but don't…

Still going strong... You may be a @BadAssBeast76 now, but you're still the one who holds my heart ❤

Thank you so very much!!

Bumping for morning crowd.

This is adorable! Love them all, keep them coming!

Thank you, both :)

It's been a while since I did one... but this is largely why I do what I do...

Yep, I built a squat/bench rack, and made the deadlift risers out of plywood. All my weights are kijiji special, so they're max 25lbs. Takes forever to load/unload them, but they were cheap!
-
This was my best dead weight (200lbs). Low for a lot of folks, but I was happy! I did x3, but only recorded 1. https://youtu.be/37A1btGZqGQ

TIL that I clearly have no clue how to apply or set my makeup! LOL I use eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara.. .that's it. It's mostly gone by mid afternoon, and my mascara is smudged by bedtime... and I clean it off using baby wet wipes. Also... I really don't care.

Also... having been in a long distance relationship for about 3 years... I'd give anything to be exposed to those daily "annoyances". You want to leave the toilet seat up? Fine! It means you're here with me! You want to chew funny? Great! It means we get to share a meal together. LDRs - perspective changers.

There isn't a person alive who doesn't have annoying habits. I don't get into the habit of listing the ones that annoy me of the people I love, because I really don't want to see a similar list of my own published. It's that whole sowing and reaping principle. LOL

One thing for ladies (and I guess men - equality and such) to keep in mind... if you are directly training and growing ab muscles, you may notice a lil (not a LOT) bit more thickness in your waist, particularly if you're strengthening obliques and such. Planking is great because it helps strengthen the transverse abdominal…
