I'm just on week 4 - had a couple of days off because I wasn't feeling well, but I will keep up with it. Have already noticed my belt is on a smaller notch. I took measurements on the weekend because I want to see the results beyond what the scale is telling me. It's great having others for support.

Wow that's an insane amount of weight. Well done! I'm determined to stay on track and get those same results!

I'm always happy to connect with more people doing Insanity. I have a couple of friends on here that are doing it and it helps motivation. I'm already wondering which workout I'll be doing after I finish Insanity in 5 weeks. Maybe T25?

I'm also doing it barefoot on a yoga mat. Much better for landing gracefully on those crazy jumps. I'm an overpronator too, but doing it barefoot is absolutely fine and I have no foot or knee problems. With shoes I always felt like I was landing so noisily and waking my boyfriend up (when working out early in the morning).…

I'm coming up to the end of week 3 and haven't noticed much on the scales. Need to take photos and measurements to compare. By the way, I found an Insanity Log app for iOS (maybe Android too?) which is useful because I can tick off each workout as I complete it, but also include measurements, weight and photos against any…

Well that makes me feel better. I always felt disappointed that I couldn't keep up. But my HRM is screaming that I need to slow down and I'm completely exhausted. But man do I ever feel great after getting my butt kicked on one of those sessions. I'm just finishing week 3 and Pure Cardio is the workout I like the least.…

I'm also in Reading. Quite a few of us in the old Berkshire massive.

Wow, those are some really great results. Your first day 63 photo, you can tell your posture is better. Tells a lot about how good you must be feeling. Well done and thanks for the inspiration!

I don't have any friends doing Insanity, I'm just about to start week 2. I did it a couple of years ago but only got to month one. Hoping to do the whole programme this time.

Ha, I'm in the same boat. I had a migraine on the weekend, and couldn't manage jumping around. It's still hurting slightly, but I managed to at least do the Cardio Abs this morning (something's better than nothing, right?). I'm going to pick up where I left off, and go back to the Friday and Saturday workouts I missed.

I have a Garmin 900XT and I'm burning around 350-400 calories for the 40 minute workouts. I'm stopping where I need to catch my breath, which is generally when my heart rate is quite high (160). Everyone's calorie burn will be different depending on your overall cardio fitness, so don't worry too much about fixating on a…

I'm a little bit behind you both, but I've just finished my second workout. I was keen to get going again, so I started yesterday, rather than waiting for Monday. I did Insanity about a year ago and only made it through the first month, but the results were good - I firmed up and lost about 7lbs. I'm going to stick to it…

This year I made the Libby's pumpkin pie recipe that's on the label, but poured the mixture into ramekins to bake like creme brulee, instead of a giant pie crust. It has all the taste of the pumpkin pie, without the crust. And it's gluten-free, since there is no crust. Eggs don't have that many calories anyhow - and are…

Hi, I'm new to the group and am going to get back to trying Insanity again. Last time I did it, I loved how crazy it was, but I only got through the first month. Now, I'm back with a vengeance and am going to give it a go again. Oh, and I also signed up for a half marathon in March because I am insane. (Most I've run…

Hi, I'm a 35 year old female living in Berkshire. I've been using this off and on for a couple of months, but I guess the main reason I'm not getting many results is because I'm not really linked up with any friends! It looks like having friends is the way to keep encouraging one another! I need to lose about four stone to…
