When I cook it, it's always nice and soft like spaghetti. Sounds like you needed to leave it in a bit longer. I always put tin foil on a cookie sheet with a little pam on it and then cut the squash in half. Put the halves meat side down on the foil and cook at 350 for about half hour to 45 minutes. 45 miunutes if the…

I love your posts and updates. I know there are some threads on MFP about low carb snacks.... here are a couple of websites I have found that offer some lower carb ideas. http://www.qualityhealth.com/recipes http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/recipereview/ :flowerforyou:

Thank you! Sounds delish :flowerforyou:

Third suggestion for applesauce instead of butter.

It does not track cycling very well. It counts a LOT of steps that you aren't really doing. BUT, it will adjust your calories when you log your ride on MFP or the Fitbit website. It will not adjust your 'steps' when you log the activity... just the calories and maybe the stairs. I did a ten mile ride today and I didn't…

I didn't wear a helmet as a kid.... As an adult, I ALWAYS wear one. Trail, roads, around the block..... always. You can still get injured or killed wearing one.... but I think it's worth wearing it regardless.

I lost about 25 pounds on WW .... in 10+ YEARS. Granted, I didn't follow it faithfully all of the time.... I really would like to have that money back that I spent with them. The final straw was the points plus.... it just didn't click with me. So I ditched them around May of this year and I'm very happy with MFP! I…

Finishing a race with a time better than you thought = FANTASTIC! :flowerforyou: I just set a personal best for 10K today and I'm beaming. It wasn't a race, just went out and did some intervals. Walk 2 min / Run 1 min - It's a lot of fun! Keep up the good work!

My favorite is the Luna Chocolate Dipped Coconut.... tastes like a almond joy/mounds.. Second would be the Luna Nutz over Chocolate. Really good for a sweet tooth!! I recently bought a couple boxes of Nature Valley protein bars and they were very good. My husband likes that they weren't as sweet as the Luna bars I buy. I…

I've had one since April.... a couple of minor issues here and there, as with any 'tech' product. For the most part, I love it and wear it every day. Here is a blog I did reviewing the fitbit against the Bodybugg.... another fitness gaget. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Masq :flowerforyou:

Another May 23rd here. It's an awesome day. Three other ladies already with the same birthday! Cheers! :drinker:

Back when I was a teenager, we didn't have Cell Phones and texting. :noway: Some of us had CB Radios in our car and my CB 'handle' was Masquerade.... most of the time people shortened it to 'Masq'

I love your story and success! I keep having to remind myself to have patience, it will happen as long as I keep up with exercise and logging a calorie deficit. Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm in! Starting @210 and would love to be 185 by Christmas!

Your body keeps an accurate journal regardless of what you write down

I was on WW for nearly 5 years. Ugh, would love to have all of that money back! :noway: I did like the Points system....I was a bit annoyed with the Points Plus. With the points, I could pretty much look at a label and know what the points are. With the points plus, I always had to have the WW calculator handy. All of the…

I have tried both the fitbit and the body bugg.... at the same time for two weeks. I wrote a blog if you are interested: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Masq I sent the bodybugg back as I didn't find it was any more accurate than the fitbit. Plus the fitbit is much easier to use, get information from and it syncs with…

Did 10K walk/jog in 85 minutes..... took 6 minutes off my time from last Sunday for the same route!
