You look fantastic and I loved your story! Truly inspirational! :flowerforyou:

Yep, I'm a forty something with about forty to lose. I'm haven't been as consistent with working out this year as I would like, but it's been so blazing hot. ugh. I want to be in better shape in my 40's than I was in my 30's.

It is the Greek yogurt that makes it so tart. I have to use truvia sweetner to take the edge off. For my husband, I used plain yogurt. It works fine, but isn't as thick as the greek and usually not as high in protien. I have also used a full 6 oz cup of flavored Chobani yogurt to 1/3 cup almond milk and 1/2 cup of oats.…

I have a similar story. I was doing WW last year and I trained for and completed three sprint triathlons. (loved them) I was a bit disappointed that I did not lose more weight..... That said, I have been reading a lot on MFP about not fueling your body right. I have a feeling I was not eating enough to fuel the workouts I…

I gave up WW for MFP as well. I liked some parts of their new point system (not counting fruit) .... but for the most part I was annoyed with the new way to figure the points. I had been on the old point system so long that I had a pretty good idea of what the points would work out to when looking at food labels. The new…

I have an app on my android phone called Restaurant Nutrition (unified lifestyle). .... it's my guide when eating out.

You can use regular plain yogurt. I did this for my husband and he liked it better than using the greek yogurt. It doesn't end up as thick as with the greek yogurt

Neither of them have any tail.... the Manx we had before these two had about a 1 1/2 inch stump. Here is a good pic of Manny that you can see he has no tail. They are like dogs too..... they totally get excited at the door to go for a walk.

Someone else posted this on MFP once and I thought it was funny!

Yes, O_O is the bomb  There are several topics about them. My favorite is chocolate PB2 and banana and second is mango.... which I make exactly like the OP's Pina Colada only with fresh mango instead of pineapple. In a pinch, I have used flavored Chobani yogurt when I don't have fresh fruit or plain greek yogurt. I…

It's been super hot where I live, so I don't like to fire up my oven. I have been putting a couple of raw chicken breasts in a saucepan and covering with a can or two or Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken soup to cook the chicken. Takes about 1/2 hour and they are cooked thru (also check the actual temp) and they are…

^^ I use this too. I add one tablespoon of regular International Delight coffee creamer for about 35 calories and then I add a bunch of sugar free coffee syrup for the rest of the flavor.

I'm going to have to try some of these ideas. I think I push to hard and then really have trouble breathing. I don't have any trouble breathing when I swim or bike..... but for some reason I have a lot of trouble with running.

My personal experience with riding in the car….. Over Memorial Day weekend, I wore my fitbit the whole time: Friday – 10 hours in the car with one stop for gas / bathroom Saturday – On my feet for 5+ hours, setting up and decorating for a graduation party Sunday – 10 hours in the car with two stops – gas/bathroom and lunch…

I wore a Fitbit and Bodybugg(Bodyfit) simultaneously for two weeks - here is my review : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Masq I returned the Bodybugg mainly because I didn't like wearing it on my arm (is very obvious if you are wearing short sleeves) and that it didn't sync with MFP Neither the Bodybugg or the Fitbit will…

I changed my sugar to 100 .... I eat a decent amount of fruit each day (3 to 4 servings) - it always put me over the sugar that MFP has set, so I changed it. My Home ~ Goals ~ Change Goals ~ Custom

Going to be honest..... I am motivated to workout so I can eat more that day or on the weekend. :blushing:

YES, it will record time in the car as steps and floors UNLESS you log being in the car as an activity. Riding in and driving a car are activities on the Fitbit website. If you do not log it this way, you will have extra steps and calories burned that you didn't actually 'do'. The Fitbit is a very simple device and you do…

I love mine too! I have had it for 2 1/2 months. I LOVE that it is tiny ~ it fits in a clip and I clip it to the center of my bra. You don't even know it's there unless I tell you it's there. I also wore the Bodybugg and the Fitbit simultaneously for two weeks. I RETURNED the bodybugg if that tells you anything.…

It is worth it. I got mine for $85 on e bay. It really helps me to see how much I move or don't move each day. I reviewed the fitbit and bodybugg on my blog http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/Masq I returned the bodybugg and kept the Fitbit if that tells you anythihng. :flowerforyou:
