If I have a craving for something sweet, I'll have a glass of chocolate milk. I've been a member of MFP for years & only the last 15 months have I consistently lost weight. I've decided to not cut out any food. I allow myself to have a few bites. I feel satisfied & don't have the craving stuck in my head all day. So far,…

I feel the same way. Although, I've only lost about 17lbs, I fit in a smaller size pants. But, tonight being Thanksgiving, my family took pics & I feel like I look exactly the same. Other people can see it & they tell me they can see it in my face & backside. But, I just can't see it. I was actually thinking about this…

My weight loss was non existent until a few months ago. I have MS so I don't exercise. My weight loss has to be done through diet & cutting calories. I've lost 16lbs since July. That's about 3lbs per month. Yes, it does suck but at least I'm trying. I've noticed some pants are very loose & that makes me feel good & want to…

After my divorce, stress brought me down to 128lbs. That was a size 8 for me. Having four children I'm a bit bigger in the hips than in the waist. I would love to be that weight again but in reality my goal is 140lbs.

Hello all! I am a soon to be 40 year old on 5/30/13 & I feel I can relate better with this group than the 30's group. So....I'm a single mom of 14 yr old triplet boys and a 10 yr old daughter. I also have MS so exercising is difficult for me. My plan is to lose the weight mostly by diet & when a get 20 lbs or so off than I…

The "official chart" says for a 5'-5" woman from 117 to 140lbs. My goal is 140. If I can do better that YAY ME!

I did experience weight gain when I was on copaxone. My Doc didn't believe that was the reason but he allowed me to change meds anyway. I've been on Betaseron for 7 years with no relapses (knock on wood). But I hate to say the weight gain didn't end with changing the med. That's why I'm on here! I hope you have better luck!

That's awesome! I took a before pic as well but haven't lost enough to compare it to. Keep going!

You are awesome!!! It lets me know this CAN be done! I get so down on myself for not sticking to my plan but your story gives me strength to keep going. It makes me tell myself to stop belly-aching....that some people had it harder & did better! Congratulations & keep going! Love the before & after pic the most!

No one else in my family has it......Immediate or otherwise. But......my only sibling, my brother Kevin, passed away in 1980 from complications of pneumonia. Dr's say he had something called Neuronal-Axonal Infantile Dystrophy. Which is also a nervous system condition. An autopsy was never done but I do believe this is…

It's not realistic. People can't go to a "camp" to have it all there for you....food, trainers, equipment, etc. Most have put it back on & then some. Personally, I can't work out that intensely....it'll kill me.....well, if Jillian doesn't get to me first! LOL

It took me DAYS to get my 13 AND 8 yr old to believe colonial was "ker-nal" & not "kol-o-nal"!

I saw it & I agree.....story line =2 bodies =10+ Did anyone notice that 3 of the actors are on the "list" to play Christian from 50 Shades of Grey? 1) Alex Pettyfer 2) Matt Bomer 3)Channing Tatum - well, I'm not sure if he's officially on the list but he's got my vote!

I have probs with depression....it runs in my family. Maybe instead of ignoring your anxiety/depression try to write it in a journal. That way you can get it off your chest. Kudos to you for being strong enough not to use medications. They work but they also can cause weight gain.

I dislike water as well. I've started making homemade iced tea with a little oj & a little real sugar. I could drink it all day. I make a gallon about every other day with a cup of sugar & a cup of oj. It probably has too much sugar!

I'm 5'5" & in 2005 I got to my lowest ever adult weight.....128lbs! However, it was ALL due to stress from my divorce & poured off like water. That put me in a size 8. Stress went away. Weight came back & then some. So, knowing what I'd look like in an 8, YES, it's good enough for me. Would I like to know what/how I would…

I have been on copaxone. The only side effects I had were the "normal" redness of skin at needle site. And all that goes with sticking a needle in your skin. None of the other things it warned. I was on it for a year, I believe, & only switched to Betaseron cuz I thought copaxone was causing me to gain weight. It…

actually....20 wks X 2lbs per week is 40lbs. I figure if you lose 1.5lbs per week that should do it. Really....the healthy way is 1lb per week. I'm in the same boat......I'd lose 5lbs in a week if I thought I could & would still be healthy! LOL!
-
I know I gain around that time b/c all I want to do is munch. Aside from that, you mentioned 1/2 weeks late w/no poss of preggers. I have PCOS & it causes periods to come/go when they please.

Impossible my 8 yr old says his homework is impossible now.....can't wait till he sees high school homework!

Hello, in 2004 I got divorced. My Weight plummeted 30lbs to 128lbs without trying. From stress I suppose. Of course when all was back to "normal", it all came back on plus more!. I understand it wasn't a healthy weight loss....but now I know what I'd look like that small (even after 4 children!) I want it again.
