I also have bad knees. I searched the internet to find some great ideas. I have started to finally use my stationary bike, that way I can start out very light until I get my stamina and to a point where my knees feel okay. I keep a handful of natural almonds in the car.....or I throw a 100 calorie snack in my purse to just to hold me over.

Great points!!! It takes such great will power to do the things you are doing. You are right - they are non-scale victories- but so VERY IMPORTANT in the fight/struggle so many of us have to get the weight off and then to keep it off.
