Honestly, I average around 1200 a day and I try to keep fats and carbs as low as possible. I make sure to track as if I don't I usually over do it on dairy, but I will hover about 200 over or under on any given day. It seems to be working for me as well. hmmm In the case of things not listed in the book I look at sugar and fat content. Nothing over 5 gm fat, and generally, if it has sugar I don't eat it right now. I'm in the cruise phase. J

I'm a huge fan of Quinoa! I usually add it to salads. Recently I made a Quinoa, spinnach, and sausage dish with it and it was amazing. I add garlic and fat free salad dressings to it to zip the flavor factor up. :)
