hey man, first good luck on your journey :) i started out on a treadmill, i never had the foresight to try to find one strong enough or rated strong enough. when i busted it after losing a pile of weight when i was looking for a new one i did and basically at that time found anything rated for bigger folks just isnt cheap.…

have you tried the forty creek wiskey.. its pretty damn good. the orriginal is good, the copper pot (or kettle) is even better :)

best thing you can do is take it outside. tm are great to start and to use if its really really crappy out. trust me i know running in weather extreems can be hard but thats part of the challenge. you and your body will adapt. take water, dress appropriately, try to go early or later in the evening....... you will never…

congrats on hitting your goal, thats awesome maybe someday i will too (still you were here to lose weight, that was my point in that quote to mccindy) just curious i suppose, id be willing to bet many people lose weight for themselves or for medical reasons etc. With that said the for themselves is probably frequently at…

ummm because her ticker says 31 lbs lost with a goal of 39 lbs... i never assume everyone wants to lose weight, the ticker just seemed to indicate she does
-
ok, so why do you want to lose weight?

youve never had someone tell you that some part of your body didnt fit some stereotype? no *kitten*, too big an *kitten*.... even if they didnt say it you never felt societal pressures to change the look of your body due to some preconceived notion of what sexy is? or what looks good to others? some people are more…

id suggest shes saying that the different main stream body images projected by society and media are different depending on what side of her family/friends are talking to her. One side telling her shes too skinny, the other too fat. Just what i am reading between the lines

you got it. it really is all about how you perceive yourself. Confidence is what it comes down to IMO and as you get more and more near your personal goal your confidence will improve. It took me two years to adjust to and accept the new me, still sometimes the old insecurities sneak in. All that said, while i know what…

Never had funny ones yet, either good or just plain skin crawling pervy

It goes both ways.... now that i have lost weight, or more so when I first did, I often got things like You are too thin Are you sick I heard you had cancer You look sick I'd get it from friends, family. Very very few were supportive and even those that were would occasionally remark something about maybe it being enough.…

i wasnt trying to say eat more than 1300, more to actually eat the 1300, or very close to it and eat back most of your excercise calories. As someone else mentioned it seems that there is a large variation from day to day, thats all :)

i just went back through a few days and it seems that your intake is low if you are measuring it correctly. Id suggest too low given the added walking. Just my opinion but i have experiencde less weight loss or no weight loss over a few months a few times when i was trying too hard. fluke maybe, but for me i now strive to…

As others have said, if you deprive yourself you will find it harder and really for no reason. You could lose weight eating nothing but chocolates and cheese cake if you wanted ( not that it would be healthy) If you can afford it get yourself an actifry, best fries ever and not much worse calorie wise than a baked potatoe.…
