I never used to like mine because I didn't want a "big" booty (I was a catcher for 9 years in softball, it was unavoidable). But the more in shape I get the more I like it.

Apparently I'm not doing this whole MFP thing right, since I don't have any crushes as of yet. I need to get on the hot/not, etc, threads more often.

Yeah, unless you're diabetic, don't worry about it. If you were going over your sugar all the time because you were stuffing your face with candy bars... that would be a different story. :)

Gilbert and Queen Creek? That's like 10 minutes from where I live. Small world. :)
-
Yup, believe so.

I don't think it's ironic that sedentary owners = sedentary pets, it makes perfect sense. After all, we can't expect our dogs to go hit the gym while we munch on our goodies and watch TV. ;)

One of my dogs was a bit chubby until I moved into a place with a backyard and a pool. He does his own workouts now, I swear... it's too funny. He'll run around all crazy in the backyard, do some laps in the pool (I'm not kidding) and then eat his dinner. It's adorable. Other than that, I started taking him on longer walks…

I think the "sabotage" comment applies mostly to the people who log little daily things like that just so they can have an extra treat during the day. The first time I used MFP I used to do that... if I wanted a beer for example, I'd go do some menial task around the house for long enough to actually have it. Needless to…

I'm still making my way through the comments, but here's my two cents. Are portion sizes out of control at a lot of restaurants? Yup. Are a lot of meals at restaurants insanely unhealthy? Yup. Do people have control over how much they eat? Yup. Do people have the choice to not eat out? Yup. My point is, I think both…

Yup, think I would :)

Just Googled that and there is one in AZ... it looks awesome! Although it seems to be more of a "fancy" place, is that right?

I got a Groupon for Impact Boot Camp in Chandler, AZ. It's on Kyrene and Chandler Blvd... I love it! 20 bucks for 10 sessions, and I'm thinking about actually getting a membership. Definitely check it out. Welcome to AZ!

I'm not nearly as active as you are, and I consume between 100-130 grams of protein pretty regularly.

White bread/tortillas and peanut butter. I can eat a whole bag of tortillas and not blink an eye. And the new peanut butter pop tarts? Drool.

You're only a bit younger than me, and I'm always encouraged to see people my age on this site. You're choosing the perfect time to work on your body! It's so much easier (in general) when you're young. Feel free to add me for support, and best of luck!

This might sound weird, but you have a lovely complexion.

If you have the bone structure that would allow for a thigh gap when you're at HEALTHY weight, then I see no issue with wanting one. If you do NOT have the correct bone structure and strive to get one at any cost, then there IS an issue with wanting one. OP, you need to think about whether or not this goal is realistic AND…

Ah, good to know. Glad to hear some feedback from someone in AZ. :)

I don't think anyone here has said "I want people to be paid so little that they can't support their families". No one wants that, obviously. What we as Americans want is fair wages based on skill and education. I wouldn't be against a small raise- maybe $1-2 dollars- but doubling their salary for flipping burgers? While I…

I definitely like going to the smaller "Mom & Pop" stores. A lot of the time their food is MUCH better than chain restaurants, and I do like knowing I'm supporting a local business. :) These are all good ideas, thanks guys. I quick added 750 cals for dinner, and since this is supposed to be a super healthy restaurant, I'm…

Thank you! :flowerforyou:

Very pretty :)

My dinner the other night. Chicken breast, green beans and whole wheat rotini pasta with tomato basil sauce. Yummy

So you literally feel like "all that and a bag of chips"? ;) Whenever I feel like binging I go do some light exercise, read, or simply think about how crappy I feel after giving into a binge. ETA: I also usually drink a TON of water. Then I feel super "full" and food doesn't sound as good.

Take on a hike... Prescott is beautiful! Much better than the 110 degree weather we get down here in the valley.
