and yeah, someone brought up a very good point. Just juice your veggies if you can't eat them. That way you can put fruits in the juice to make it sweeter.

You don't need it to lose weight, but you definitely need vegetables to be healthy. They contain very important minerals and vitamins that are VERY IMPORTANT for your health. Try steaming your veggies. Broccoli, spinach, carrots, peas, bok choy etc... and replace your starchy grains with them. The taste of these veggies…

Quest bars. High in protein and no added sugar. Try it out they're delicious... the downfall is that they're a bit pricy PRICY

Well first off, don't get fast food and leave it in their hands to give you the healthiest carb choices lol. When you look at the ingredients on packaging, make sure to choose bread/grains/tortilla etc.. that are made with whole grain/whole wheat. Bad carbs are fast-releasing good carbs are slow-releasing good luck!

I felt the same way. I didn't start going to the gym until I was just a few lbs away from my goal.. but I tell you this: GET A GYM MEMBERSHIP!! I respect those who go to the gym and are overweight. It shows so much heart and courage, much more than I had. People will look at you no matter how skinny, fat, buff you are.…

MFP doesn't calculate your strength training as a burn. You can enter, "strength training/weight lifting" into cardio, but it's notoriously inaccurate. I suggest you buy a heart rate monitor. It's well worth the investment. Good luck!

I think I gained weight just by looking at that. I'd run 30 days straight to get my hands on one of those.

Be proud. That's a great accomplishment.

Keep up with my friend at the gym (cardio/strength-wise) Stay under my carb limit.

There is no quick way to get results unless you get liposuction. Learn to be patient, and accept that it's going to be a long roller coaster of a journey. If you're not ready to accept that you're not going to see any results, then you're not ready for this journey. There's no one who can want it for you, you need to want…

I hide it behind the rice cooker so I'm not tempted to eat it all. Because girl, I can eat it ALL in one sitting if I wanted to LOL

That's a beautiful reason why you should want to lose weight. I've worked in Walmart for a while and saw so many customers always purchasing many unhealthy foods that I wanted to eat as well. It was tough at first, but I overcame that problem by making my goals clear and wanting them more than anything in the world. And…

Youtube Michael Kory. He should be coming out with a cookbook very soon. He does a lot of high protein and low-carb meals. His recipes are fast, inexpensive, delicious, and easy :)

Be completely accurate with your servings. What ever you eat, you need to log it down. Weigh your food with a scale before cooking them (chicken, steak, fish etc..) and don't forget to measure everything you consume as well. Use a heart rate monitor to track your activity more accurately. I recommend one with a chest strap…

Sugar is still sugar, regardless of the food it comes from. One's view might be clouded because of how society and media portrays fruits. Although it is recommended that Americans incorporate fruits in their diet, one should watch what type of fruit they eat. Some fruits range from 1g to 15g of sugar per serving. This does…

Weigh it before. Unless specified that it's cooked, the nutritional information is from its raw form. Good luck!

I love sushi too, but too much rice is horrible! If you like dipping it in soy sauce (like I do), say goodbye to that sodium goal lol. I actually ate sushi today though, but instead of rice I used quinoa :) and I didn't use soy sauce.

you know you're fat when you're watching a movie in the theaters, and instead of you watching the movie you're watching if you're breathing too loud.
