Motorolla Atrix 4G Replacement #5 in last year and a half thanks to the warranty. Marvelous upgrade from my iPhone that never had to be replaced until hubby wanted me to upgrade   :grumble:   :explode:

I was never twisted enough to have a Coca-cola addiction, but 3 years ago I quit drinking Pepsi. I was downing a 2liter a day easily. I wasn't on the weight loss wagon, so no idea what it did for my weight, if anything. I don't regret giving it up, though I do have a "celebratory" half can of Pepsi on New Years (though…

Why watch on tv what I can be living in person? What I *am* living in person, with a lot less suffering and stress. Plus it's trashy tv, with trashy people treating overweight people trashy before, during, and after production. Why finance them by watching their trash?

You have to want it for yourself. If you rely exclusively on who is not telling you what, you will never be who YOU want to be. No one once looked at me and said, Hey Robin Im worried about your ballooning weight. No one once looked at me and said, Mom you are embarrassing me - or even Hey mom, you look amazing with the…

You look terrific. Definitely a look of unadulterated contentment on your face now, and well deserved :) Great job!

Ditch the sweatshirts! You dont need to hide your awesome shape :) great work, great success!

While MFP does provide a way to keep track of calories, the real trick of losing weight and keeping it off is just knowing what you are putting in your face (hello, calories and food logging) then moving more than you are. Moderation, healthier food choices, more moving around. Also, hidden sugars? Avoid the heavily…

Congrats on your first of MANY many more an exciting NSVs!! Give yourself a great big hug!

My calves. Ive always admired my shapely calves. As I gained weight I grieved for them, now I can almost see them in their stunning glory. I don't have smashing legs (thighs, ugh, feet yick!,) but my calves are definitely what I love about me.

If it's been a while since your last fun drink, then toss caution to the wind and order up something you know you will love and sip on it all night, or order a second. Who cares, it's just a few calories. If you go for a bit of a longer walk the next day, or budget around the drinks it isn't going to hurt. The hardest part…

All of the above :) What a great laugh!

If we pretend carbs are terrible for you, sugar, for sure. However, I am a huge fan of not cutting carbs out. Now, if you wanted to talk about "which foods do you wish had less sodium" I could give you a list.. =|

What worked for me so far: Honesty with yourself is critical. Determination/commitment to stick it out through good/bad, health/sickness, richer/poorer.. Consider it like marrying a promise to yourself. Walking deliberately. Not just walking as a part of your job, but going out for 20-40-60 minutes a day, every other day,…

Wish a size 14 in store A would be the same as a size 14 in store B :( Grats on loose pants :) Took me a while to get some of those, and once I did I wound up in 2 sizes smaller :o

to the gun cabinet. the real question is, could i get the gun loaded before the bear ate me good arm. in all seriousness, not very far though Im adept at tree climbing so Id probably head for the nearest tree and hurl squirrels at the bear until it was sated or left.

Mine was a sad NSV: being smaller than my 19yo son :( He has gained all the weight I've lost since June 2012.. He doesn't live at home, and when I saw him this christmas my heart broke for him. He's a smart kid, but stubborn and in denial. A positive NSV: wearing my first REAL pair of jeans (size 16) AND with a belt since…

I fell off the wagon 4 days in a row, and feel nothing but good about it :) Life happens. As I mentioned to someone once, indulging is fine. Go for it, enjoy yourself guilt free. Discipline is knowing when it's time to stop and then getting back to where you left off. I'll be in "recovery mode" for the next 7 days,…

You look wonderful! Your companion looks proud of you too!

You look great :) I think you have given yourself the best present ever!! Keep up the great work :)
-
You look fantabulous :) Great job sticking it out, and doing so with such wonderful results. Hug yourself for me :)

How long did it take you to go from omg to OMFG! I think you showed tremendous dedication, and I admire you for it :) I think you look GREAT!!!!

Being expected to only ever sing praises on viewable diaries. I expect to be cajoled if I start slipping so I treat others the same lighthearted way. Distinctly overweight folks who think 1200 calorie goals will get them faster results. Being friended then forgotten.

Sounds to me like your "old clothes" may have originally been on the small size if you aren't loose in them currently. You have lost a ton of inches from your body, your clothes should be looser. I'd say pat yourself on the back and be ultra proud and go shop around and see if the new clothes in the stores are the same…

just wanted to say: Awesome sharing. Very awesome that you can show two close friends, same size yet so completely different in body comp while still both being top athletes :) Thanks for that, it is indeed inspiring and motivating and reassuring :)

Sounds like she is having a lot of doubts about the guy who said he loved her, and rather than admit she doesn't feel the same she is just lashing out at you. Ignore it.

I guess, coming from a relatively small "immediate" family I never had trouble with food pushers. There weren't heaps and mounds of desserts, appetizers, or main dishes to select from. Now that I am grown, I don't see the point in being that wasteful with food in the first place :P Celebrating a day of Thanks is fantastic,…

I don't pay one ounce of attention to my carbs. Not once since I started losing weight :P I kinda like my carbs. Carbs are like, my friends. The whole grain rice, homemade whole wheat bread, mashed potatoes, I can't have a successful lifestyle without having these in my diet. I don't eat them every day, but I never did so…

Eating less calories, but the same types of food. Eating more fruits and veggies, less McD, KFC, BK. Eating more lean proteins, yogurt, actually eating breakfast- a BIG breakfast from my usual of skipping it entirely for most of my adult life. And moving. A lot more than I used to. Walking, walking, walking. I adopted and…

I have been a member, and losing consistently, since 28 Jan 2012.
