Girl - I weight myself every morning. It is the very first thing I do, EVERYDAY! I think it only becomes an obsession when you do it several times a day, after you eat, at night, after you go to the bathroom, etc.

Did you try the COFFEE???
-
Agree again!!!! Lately I have uped my calories and have been eatting between 1300 and 1700 a day. Since then I have started to lose more weight than when I was at 1200 calories! Your body needs fuel!
-
NO! That is no ok darlin!! Please please eat at least 1200 calories a day. I am not a professional, but from personal experience this really sounds like an eatting disorder. I did this several years ago to myself and really caused a alot of damange because I became too fixed on a NUMBER instead of how I LOOKED.
-
Also, you could not be losing weight because you are starving yourself. I just looked at your diary - looks like you uped your calories to 630 a day!!! You are HURTING your body and brain by doing this. Your body will create fat and store all the calories you give it because of this.
-
I agree completely! 450 calories a day = an eatting disorder. Please do not become obsessed w/losing weight that you damage your body. Your body probably just needs rest and to be fueled.
-
You definitely need to eat at MINIMUM 1,200 calories a day. Your body may have just plateaued for a while (that happens to me plenty), it could be holding on and storing fat because you are not giving it enough fuel, any number of things. I do not believe it is b/c you ate exercise calories. What is your typical day like?

By using this site, you have learned many things about food, portion sizes, and caloires. I would bring a little pocket notebook and track the food that way. You may not be exact with your calories, but you should have a rough idea what you are eatting and can estimate the calories in each item. Write it down and add it up…

nice use of smilies :glasses:

When I want chocolate, I will eat a Hershey Special Dark Chocolate Bar. It has 180 calories, good for you, and makes me feel more satisfied than eatting milk chocolate. A matter of fact, I did this yesterday
-
oooooo myyyyy gooooosh!!!!!! :glasses: This sounds amazing! 1 problem - I am the only one in the household that likes sweet potatoes
-
I think this is something you should talk to your doctor about.

When I do morning workouts, I always eat first, even if it is something small. Usually I have a banana, 2 fat free fig newtons, or a granola bar. Sometimes if I know I am going to have a hard/long morning workout, I will get up early just to eat a peanut butter sandwich. Then after my workout, I eat my breakfast!

Eatting is good, its social entertainment, habbit, addiction, all of the above. We just have to learn to change our habits. Cheat days are good once in a while, I think everyone should treat themselves to those days. Good job on getting back on track today! And hope you had a great mothers day!

I used to worry about my sugar and avoid many foods due to the amount of sugar. Then I went to a nutritionist and she explained to me that sugar in yogurts, fruits (fresh and dried), veggies, etc. do not count against your daily sugar intake as they are all natural sugars. Hope this helps a bit!
-
All depends on what I ate that caused me to go over and when the last time I had a cheat day was. I would either have a light dinner, salad, veggies, fruits. Or if I was still hungry and have not had a cheat day for a long time, I would just eat a normal dinner.
-
GOOD JOB !!! I hope it was delicious :) P.S. That was really awesome of your boss to think of you when ordering the office pizza!
-
Eat it, enjoy it, and count it as a healthy cheat day. At least that is what I would do.
-
the banana! it will be more satisfying for the number of calories PLUS will 3 mini goodbars keep you feeling satisified?
-
Thanks for sharing, this will come in handy!
-
Congrats! That is fantastic!

I guess it depends on if you are hungry -- don't force yourself if you are not hungry. But if you are, enjoy the calories and do not worry about what time it is. The other night I woke up at 11pm hungry, so I ate. Then I woke up at 3am hungry, so I ate. I just put the foods in my diary and I still lose weight.

Also Milk is a great filler!

Not sure what calorie range you are looking for, but some of my favorites are: Greek Yogurt Broccoli Apples Granola Bars Almonds Rice Cakes Special K Protein Bars Luna Bars Cauliflower Brussel Sprouts Strawberries Peanut Butter

I usually go anywhere from 200 under to 200 over on average.

I personally don't really like them or think they work. I've tried them in the past and had no luck. For me, coffee works best!!! It has to be the real stuff, no decaf - and I will be ready to use the bathroom in no time!!!
