1200 calories a day is TOUGH if you don't get the right foods. Today I was able to fall just below 1200 and feel totally satisfied (this doesn't often happen) BREAKFAST: (315 calories) Mission Life Balance Whole Wheat Tortilla Plus Gala Apple 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter & Co. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Peanut Butter One A Day Vita…

I know! I didn't know I was going to cause a drama filled topic. Lord I would not have said anything if I knew people were so senstive. This is a public forum where people offer advice, help, and opinions. Take it or leave it. I don't think I nor anyone else said we were 100% correct!

THANKS!!! Seems like I got a lot of people ticked off for being concerned about her high intake. Don't see why everyone got so defensive...geesh...

Did I say I was passing judgement? No, I do not believe I did. All I did ws offer my opinion and concern. This is a public forum and we are all on here for support and to talk to others. If your feelings get hurt, well then I am sorry.

That is very true, however, in my opinion close to 3,500 calories a day is extreme - that would be more for an elite athlete (marathon runner, etc.) and also body builders. http://howmanycaloriesshouldieat.blogspot.com/

I usually hit between 200-350 for breakfast.

I just looked at your diary. Your daily goal is 3,220 calories!!! :noway: That seems extremely HIGH and I do not think you are going to see weight loss or a change in your body if you are consuming that many calories and especially breakfasts at 700-1100 calories :noway: I write this out of concern for you and your health.

I definitely getting plenty of fiber and eatting fruits/veggies (apples, prunes, strawberries, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc.)
-
I wake about 3-4 times a week extremely hungry. I listen to my body and eat. Sometimes cereal, yogurt, fruit, granola bar, etc. Just log it into your calorie intake. If you are waking up that hungry, it is because your body needs fuel and not getting what it needs.
-
could be many reasons. not getting enough calories or calories from the right foods not enough protein waiting too long between meals. what is your current eating habit/is your food diary public?

This looks like a great site, thanks for sharing:wink:
