Great results. Just goes to show that dedication, knowledge and consistency are so important.

I was going to say this too. I used to use these but now I order optimum nutrion whey online its £19.79 for a 908g tub, mixes really well with water, yoghurt and milk and all the flavours I've had are lovely. It has more protein per scoop than the Holland and Barrett ones

^^^This. All you are doing is cheating you and sabotaging your own goals

there was an add on the shopping channel this morning for P90X for £99.00, which is pretty expensive and then you still need some extra equipment like heavy dumbells and stuff. I would recommend the New Rules of Lifting too, all the exercises have descritions of various difficulty levels and it explains home alternatives.…

Great question Nikki, are you caving in too? I definately think I will. I need that extra kick up the wobbly behind lol

Thanks for that, I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't have such a large number to loose. Thanks for the share it's definately inspirational

I have a bit of a mommy pooch and I've never had kids :ohwell: mine is fine when I'm standing up although a little loose but when I sit down it rolls up or when I lean forward it hangs off me like it's a completely seperate entity. I'm trying my damned hardest to shift it with heavy weights that encompass the core muscles.…
Totally depends on the woman and the BC. I never had any issues with weight on the pill. I did gain, but not because of the BC. And I had no problem losing.
I'm the same. I have been using microgynon for over 10 years and I have had no problems. I have gained and lost my weight whilst using BC but I again…

I'm debating a fit bit too but just found this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omron-CaloriScan-Professional-Management-Activity/dp/B007G4VRH8/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_1) in a search. It seems to do exactly the same as fitbit bar the sleep function and not sure if it has the online stuff as well. Anyone got one of these?

I am in the same position nearly, apart from my parents aren't so bad, they just don't seem really bothered by anything I do at all. I'm also training to be a certified personal trainer and am 3/4 of the way through the level 2 gym instructor course. I also live back at home because of circumstances and would give anything…

Fabulous work, you look great. I like the idea of measuring your belt and using that as motivation, I never thought of that. I had to go out and buy new ones lol

You're not the only one. I went from 168 to 133 in a year so 1-2lb of loss a week if that. The funny thing is that now I have more days where I look at myself and feel like I look fat than when I did before. I still pick the bigger clothes sizes up when shopping and get shocked if people comment that I'm "skinny" my brain…

I can't remember his name but that bloke who specialises in Japanese food thats always on Saturday Kitchen

I don't wholly agree or disagree, there are aspects of that that make sense like larger portions of veg, but I think the protein accounted for in that diet would be way too low. I would personally put the cheese and meat on the same level as eggs and fish and bump the seeds, nuts and potatoes/legumes etc to the higher…

amazing work, well done and HUGE congratulations on fitting in to your wedding dress :flowerforyou:

He probably wanted you to leave because he was planning on pressing 30lbs and was intimidated by your heavier weight  . Seriously though I would report him because he has no right to mark out territory like that, the gym is for everyone. Well done on your composure as well , I have a quick temper and I doubt I…

Hahaha yes I totally agree. It's scary how it seems to decline in "professionals" too

Fantastic post, your story is like so many others (mine included) and you've definately inspired me

You know you don't NEED a gym to exercise and keep fit. There are plenty of things you can do instead, loads of youtube channels with workouts on, bodyrock.tv, get a bike or run out and about in the fresh air, look for classes at the local community centre etc. Find what works for you. If the gym is too expense right now…

struggling over a minor road block. You'll get over it. What I do when this happens (and this can be pretty frequent lately) is just take a step back reevaluate my goals and start back off again with a clearer positive picture in my head If you are seriously depressed though, as said, please go get help.

Personally if you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder you need to seek professional help. Yes these forums are good for general advice but there is so much conflicting information and so many people who beleive they have the answer that it could do you more harm than good. My advice go back to your doctor or see a…
