You can get natural versions of nut butters which are much more beneficial to you as literally all they contain is the ground nuts. I recently found almond and hazelnut butters which are really lovely and have a stronger taste meaning you use less.

That is an awesome tatt :glasses: , do it

^^ This. I hate when people just think one day oh i'll go get a new tattoo, and go pick one out of the book in the studio that hundreds if not millions of other people have. Personally I like my tattoos to have some significance to me and I spend a lot of time beforehand looking for the PERFECT design if not having a bash…

For me I want to be able to make a difference. Once I get my basic training in to be a Personal Trainer I want to specialise in the lines of child fitness and nutrition and work towards educating children in how to keep themselves fit and make good food choices.

I totally agree with the buying small things suggestion. Cleaning products, crockery, cutlery, towels, bed sheets etc. These little things all add up and if you can get them over a period of time rather than all at once it will make a difference. Good luck and i hope the move and the house share works out great for you all

I would recommend Rick Gallop's GI diet as he sets it all out so easy to understand and uses the traffic light system to mark singular foods and also recipies in his books. I got the books pretty cheaply from amazon, There are also great pocket guides I think the one I got was a collins book.…

Twinnings do a lovely green tea with raspberry and blueberry where the fruity taste balances out the bitter green tea. Its the only one I can stomach. Like others have said though it's no magic tea, so if you don't lik eit no biggy just get your water in and you'll be fine

Amazing!!! well done. I'm 5'7" and 133lbs and don't look so slim. Congratulations on all your hard work

I agree, If we can work on educating the children now and families as a whole, maybe a change can be made in the next generation of children.
-
I think its more a sign of miseducation or lack of on part of both the parents and the children if they are old enough to be making their own choices. If the parents have a poor understanding or negative relationship with food/exercise, that is obviously going to have a knock on effect on the child. Situtations are often…

I use mycrogynon and I've noticed that I'm starting to get way more emotional during TOM than I ever did. I'm planning on discussing this with the GP when I go for a represcription. Really sorry to hear about you rmajor op, no wonder you're feeling down. Hope you feel better soon

I'm with you on this one. A lot of people are starting this journey totally blind and are looking for help and support from this site, not to be shot down for asking questions or posting threads. There's way too much of that going on here lately. If they're wrong, tell them so and explain why. Don't go off and call them…

Turning off the fretiting and over thinking!! and having some faith in myself.......................oh and buying a bottle of wine on the way home :noway:

That has settled it, I'm getting back in to lifting after my exams. I have the same body shape as many of the before pics which just confirms I can get this if I push hard. Thanks for the thread
-
WOW you have put in some seriously hard work, loving your results prior to the 30 day shred and you can really tell the difference it has made to the halway mark. Congratulations
-
You guys are all so impressive

Have you set it up correctly? i.e. entered your height, weight, age etc if the facility is there to do so. This can have a huge impact. Also is your Max HR entered correctly? you can work this out 220-age.

Fantastic work that's awesome yo must be over the moon. Keep up all the good work :drinker:

Thanks so much for sharing that :drinker: . I'm not a runner at all and have knee issues, but I am debating having a go at C25K in a few weeks time. Looks like new trainers are where to start, what a good excuse
-
I do this too. My macros are set up the same. If I log it beforehand I can adjust anything that needs it, plus I don't have to remember what I ate all day and I just have to add in drinks and deviations off plan :ohwell:
-
This is a great tool I use it as a rough guide. I also like the principles behind the GI Diet which is pretty similar in that it classifies food into red, amber and green sections. Green being best to eat and so forth
-
If you feel you are eating too little, up your intake. If the worst happens you can drop it back down after a couple of weeks. It's all about trial and error. I know when I started on here I was 168lbs and 5'7" MFP gave me 1200 cals to lose 2lbs per week. This worked in the beginning but I was constantly hitting plataeus…

they played some festivals in the UK last summer maybe one before and got slated because Axel turned up half hour late played one song and got sick of being heckled and left

I saw Panic at the Disco last month and they were one of the best bands I've ever seen. Would've loved to see them before the split. Long Blondes - I saw them once, which turned out to be their last gig.

I would politely refuse. This is a HUGE burden to put on a friend. Especially if they have other means of sourcing the money by giving up some of their other properties. These are very tough times we are in right now and who is to say that their tax money comes through in time for you to avoid penalties in repaying the…

^^^ this too. My hands are so small I sometimes struggle with grip and gloves really improved this as well as stopping blisters
