you can eat your exercise calories earned. Don't restrict too much.

My sister struggled with weight all her life. Two years ago she had GP surgery. She lost a lot of weight, but now she has to watch very carefully what she eats. I thought all I have to do is put that same idea into my head without the surgery, so far it is working. Personally I feel I should give it my all before I resort…

you can eat them. I eat about half of mine.

I know what you mean. I had to watch my sodium too. I thought adding salt to my food was the problem and now I see it was the sodium content in the foods I ate before adding salt was too high.

Banana and peanut butter on toasted bread, yes! I never heard of mayo with it......at first I was like, yew! But then I read a post on here that mentioned mayo, cheese and banana on bread....now that sounds good! It was the cheese that sold me...lol

Hi! Great place to be:smile:

I was on WW four times in the past 10 years. I compared my calories with the points calculator and figured out that I am pretty much right on as far as how I used to be on WW. This site is free and easy to navigate. Search the message boards here, I am sure you will find a group to fit in and lots of support. Going to…

Key word "diet" I would never go for this, it sounds like torture. Diets don't work......lifestyle, eating healthy and exercise work.

Hello! I think it's great that your husband is doing this with you. You can be a great support to each other. Good Luck!

It's ok...we all slip up from time to time.

I love it too. It is so easy to navigate. I can keep track of everything in one place.

exercise is good for you in so many ways. Also, you don't have to eat all of your exercise calories. I eat about half of mine or none and I lost 3 pounds in 10 days.

track your calories and do research on low calorie foods that are good for you. Try to eat something nutritious every three hours. If you feel hungry have a glass of water and if after 20 minutes you still feel hungry then have something to eat. Making yourself feel the hunger in order to convince yourself that this is the…

you are not alone.. I put on weight when I started exercising too. It has been 8 weeks for me and I am finally seeing my effort pay off. You are doing great!

I love peanut butter, but stay away from it because of the fat. I have never checked, but I wonder if Almond Butter has less fat?

I feel your pain. 8 weeks ago I started walking 3.5 miles (brisk) 6xper week. I gained 5 pounds throughout the weeks. Believe me I wanted to throw my scale out the window. 10 days ago I found this website and began logging every bite I put into my mouth. Yesterday the scale was down 3 lbs. I kept telling myself that this…

good pair of running shoes will help and don't push yourself too hard.

Welcome! You are doing great...I went over my first few days too.
-
You have a lot of great challenges going on right now.....I wish you luck!

Are you trying restrict your carbs? I am not too picky about it, I usually go over a bit on carbs and/or protein. if it's a good carb I wouldn't worry too much about it.

This is what I would have said too. I looked into it a while ago too and decided not to waste money on a quick fix. What I really need is to change my eating habits and eat healthy foods.

I drink 24 oz right after my workout and try to get in more during the day. Drinking water at night has helped me to stop snacking at night too. Good job!
