Yeah, I agree with most others here. I eat this stuff almost daily. I'm losing just fine and am quite happy with the results. Don't pay the videos any mind.

If you're looking to lose weight, doing it that way makes it a little harder to figure out how much you're consuming. As long as it doesn't put you over your goals, why not.

Label is for dry (unless otherwise stated)

Yes, you will still lose weight in a calorie deficit regardless of what you eat.
-
Heck no. Don't want the govt. getting involved. It will only lead to misery further down the road.
-
Generally burgers in restaurants. some of these places are 1,000 calories and 80 grams fat. Just insane.
-
It's fine to drink your calories if you meet your goals, but I'd rather spend calories on food rather than a bottle of coke, glass of juice and the like.
-
I said "when I want soda". I didn't say it's saving people who don't want soda calories. Using diet soda as a substitute for regular has been quite beneficial for me.
-
I don't know about you, but when I want to drink soda, drinking diet soda with my meal saves me 250+ calories. I firmly believe it's contributed to my success.

Just looking at your diary for the past few days, eating out is what's doing you in. Most canned foods are quite high in sodium as well. Chili and the like. More meals at home or made at home and brought to work will help.

I absolutely dreaded having to mow my lawn. In fact, I barely was able to. I always ended up doing it over 2 days due to fatigue. Now I can finish in just over an hour and love it. Great exercise :) I'm glad I've dropped enough to get though more easily.

I don't think it's bad at all. I eat bread virtually every day.
-
Obviously people who don't think it counts toward water intake.

Usually if I add toppings to a burger, like lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers, etc. I know they don't add up to a lot, but throw some calories in there knowing they're obviously something. And if something like a slice of bread, bagel, pita or whatever is bigger than the serving size, I quick add the extra calories the…

So after adding a flavor to it, it ceases to be H2O? Where did it go?
-
Yes, pretty much eat anything I want. Its generally a question of how much now.
-
Probably deli meats. Gotta have Boar's Head. I don't particularly care for generic soda either.
-
The only time I don't log is if I have something that I can't determine the nutritional value. Local pizza places and such. It's not because I eat badly or go overboard. I just don't know.

Promoting unhealthy food to children is a non issue. They don't go out and buy on their own. Doesn't matter at all who promotes the Olympics. McDonald's and Coke have been doing it for years and years. Olympics would be dumb to turn down the money. I see no issue with them sponsoring.

I love bread and refuse to give it up! Hasn't hindered my progress by any means.

I usually buy Nature's Own. Not aware of a low sodium offering. I think they typically run anywhere from around 120 - 150 mg per slice.
-
If you like the taste, eat them. A lot of people are scared due to misinformation.

This. I went far too long for my own good. Thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army are great for me and anyone else who needs clothes that fit, but don't want to spend the money knowing there is more weight to lose. Nothing as frustrating as having to buy new clothes every 4-5 months. I'll probably buy new when I…

Do you have a medical reason to keep it that low? I've been advised by my cardiologist to stick to 1,500 due to hypertension. Do you have similar issues? If not, you may be driving yourself crazy for no reason.
-
If you suffer from hypertension, yes, it may be something to worry about.
-
I don't think there has been any case that a human has gotten cancer from sweet n low.
-
Around 8am for my first. 7pm or later for dinner.
-
I almost always eat late, many times an hour or so before bed. There's no difference when you eat.
-
I think I have read that it's possible to have too much protein, but generally most people wouldn't need to worry. I think it's a crazy amount.
-
It's probably not a necessity, but highly recommended.
