  • your body will not think it is starving itself if you skip lunch, however, how about some vegetable soup and some fruit = 150 calories and very filling, if you must have something. Go for the burges but miss out on the cheese, half a portion of fries and salad = you get it all!!! enjoy your date night and stop stressing!!!

  • Dropped my calorie intake to 1000 cals/day (lots of fruit/veg/fibre/wholemeal/beans/pulses etc etc) & increased cardio exercise (eat less/exercise more) for 1 week, 4lb weight loss that week and now if I plateaued for more than 4 wks, I would do the same!!   • I don't, nor never have eaten back my exercise calories, irrespective of 'net'!!! I use a HRM for exercise and record my calorie burn. varies from 4000-7000/wk calories (depends on my type of workouts) I have consistently lost 1- 11/2lbs/wk for 43 wks by doing this. I haven't tried eating them back because what I am doing…

  • It is 'ESSENTIAL'......... you will be absolutely 'shocked' when you start to measure quantity!!!! get a digital one, more accurate and you will see the pounds falling off you. p.s. I live in the UK and all recipes are produced in grams/kilos/pounds/ounces. since using this site, a lot of the recipes are cups/sticks etc…
  • ditto..... I agree also your gestational diabetes will increase your LDL significantly. It should resolve after the pregnancy, however, it can take up to 3 months post partum. I cannot comment on the 'insurance' guidelines as I live in the UK and they are not relevant (yet!!!) hope this helps.

  • I weigh myself several times a day but only 'check in' my weight on a Fri!!! that's because it gives me a 'break' at the weekend and the rest of the week to catch up!!!
  • 1) youngest son came home from university for the day to take me to lunch for Mothers day as he has to work on Sunday. haven't seen him for 5 wks, it was lovely. 2) lost 1.1kg this week 3) it's friday!!!
