I joined mfp in August 2010. I had lost 11 ponds before mfp and have lost 50 since for a total of 61lbs. I LOVE MFP. There's no way I could have done it without it, because it has held me accountable! I am so THANKFUL for ALL the encouragement that I get from my FRIENDS! I tell everybody about it! I'm about half way there.

I am a troop leader in fact I'm cookie Mom. I actually ate some Saturday, and logged everyone I ate. Did not go over my calories or my fat for the day. Even maintained my weight this weekend. Yah me! It can be done. Now granted I won't eat them everyday!

had someone at church yesterday tell me that their husband told her that I looked like a teenager. If I look like a teenager @58 down, wonder what I will look like when I finally reach my ultimate goal of 120 ponds gone. Oh, btw I do feel like a teenager!

I tried the salsa chicken yesterday for lunch. The GREAT thing about it was it was ready when we came in from church. I served it with the ready serve brown rice, and we were sitting down in 3 minutes. Is it too much to ask for you to send me a copy. joanjac@prodigy.net. Thanks!

just like everyone else said.....increase your fiber, and try to drink more water. I will drink coffe, and eat a fiber one bar for a snack. Or try fruit, like bananas and apples. They say pears have more fiber, but I'm not a fan of pears. What about yogurt??? Yogurt always makes me feel full too!

Planning ahead is key. Last Friday, I didn't have a plan, so when I hit the door, I ate 4 mini packs of skittles. I personally try to drink 12 a day, but I have found that if I go much over like closer to 15 for a few days in a row, my side kind of like where my kidneys are will start hurting, almost like a pinching feeling. So I try to stay closer to 12!

I too gained 4 this am. The same thing happened at Thanksgiving, and after the 1st day of eatting right again, I had lost all 4. Hoping the same thing will happen this time, because I was at 203. Yah! Way to go! I was 4lbs more than my husband when We started out too! He kind of fell off the wagon, but I have tried to stay committed. Now I'm 33lbs less than him. I know that men can lose faster than women, but just remember slow and steady wins the race!
