Woohoo! Go Texas! You look amazing girl! Nice job! Hope your fracture heals quick! Hook em horns!

I'm working out 5 days this week, and I'm going to incorporate those Bob Harper DVD's into my routine. I got 4 last month during his $5 sale, and I've done one. It was SOOOOOOO hard! So, I'll probably get a two-three hour workout for 3 of those days (that's if I can get over this cold)! Also, drinking almost a gallon of…

I'm an apple. I'm seeing changes in my belly, but the first place I lose is in my thighs and booty. I'm loving that! Smaller jeans! I have big boobs, so I'm hoping ot see some changes there soon!

YES!!! Those brownies are awesome!!!!

This! I don't mind veggies, but it wasn't a priority growing up, so I don't really know great ways to prepare them other than with cheese or cream of something soup smothered all over them (southern cooking). I like raw veggies, so maybe just have those ready to snack on.

Houston (Galveston county) Born and raised... I got my membership at 24 Hour just so I wouldn't have to walk in this heat! PLUS, my kids like it, and I don't have to figure out how to workout with them under foot. I have a stack of workout dvd's that I can't use with them home during the summer!

I don't eat them back, BUT, I also don't use the BMR number that MFP provided. They suggested 1200 calories for me. That's too low! I figured out my TDEE and BMR on another site (I can't remember which one, but it was recommended by a few different people), and it set my goal at 1730 - much more reasonable for me!

I don't like running, so I like to do Interval training. I start out with 5 minute warm up (usually around 3.4 mph), then incline for 4 minutes while walking (3.7 mph), then 2 minute rest meaning I go back to 3.4 mph and 0 incline. I do this for an hour, and usually bump my speed up on the inclines and rest about 20…

I have extra motivation since my husband told me today that we will be going to see his family in August. They live in Cape Cod, and this will be our first time to see them in 3 years! I've lost 32 pounds since they last saw me, and I want to be down another 10, for sure! So, I am going to finally cut the soda out of my…

Hi, I'm Chandra! I'm 38. I joined MFP in January, but didn't really start using it until the end of February. I've lost 15 pounds on MFP, and had already lost 20 prior to that. My goal is to be in a size 10 by the time our cruise leaves port in October. I have two very fun, very active boys and a husband that works hard…

Definitely see the difference in your waist, shoulders and face! Great job to you!!!! Keep up the great work!

Congratulations! You look great!

You can do it by November!!! That's awesome, I wish I had the guts to do one of those!
-
That's awesome!!! I can really tell in your mid-section!

You look fantastic, and this totally encourages me! Great job!

I have no idea about how to set goal weight, so I'm interested to see what the response is. But, I also wanted to say - Great job on getting your weight down to where it is! I would love to be in the 140's!!!
-
Definitely this! The others have chemicals.

There is only 1 - me with my first and last name. However, with my first name there are 21,948 people in the U.S. with the first name Chandra.

I would get help. I never in a million years thought I would ever be diagnosed with an ED, but mine was for Binge Eating and EDNOS. My best friend had to go into treatment last year for Anorexia and Bulimia. She does NOT look like the "typical" anorexic that you see in most articles about it. You'll feel better talking to…

I see a dietitian who has helped me recognize why I binge eat, and why I was addicted to food. Food is the worst addiction because you HAVE to have it in order to live. It's not something you can just give up. One thing that might help is eating smaller meals more frequently and cutting out just one thing that you can. For…

I can tell you that having an ovary removed will definitely affect your weight loss efforts as estrogen and other hormones have probably changed. You might want to check with your doctor to see if your hormones are in balance.

I use the Suave version of the Nexxus Humectress shampoo. It's fantastic, and WAYYYY cheaper! My hair feels so soft. I like the John Freida mousse. It makes my curls look really shiny and pretty and doesn't have that crunchy feel to it when it dries.

I can totally relate! In my 20's, I was on the ball with my health and fitness. I got married at 28, moved across the country, started a new job, and experienced my first bout of depression all within the first year of marriage. I gained 40 pounds by our first anniversary. By the time our second child was born 3 years ago,…

Quinoa, hummus, flax meal, the stoplight bell peppers (great snack and my kids like them too). English cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. And I forgot Natural Almond Butter - absolute staple in my house since my youngest is allergic to peanuts.
