  • add me! i'm 29 almost 30 and looking to ultimately loose about 70lbs. currently hovering between 223 and 228. looking to get out of the 200's before i hit 30 (july). i keep loosing ~5lbs, then loosing track of what i'm doing then come back, i'm trying to quit the yo-yo right now.
  • can't seem to do more than 2 miles each run, my legs are just not strong enough to keep picking up my feet for more than that. surgery this thrusday may or may not really slow me down next week. we shall see.
  • i may have gotten a little too ambitious. having surgery next thursday (i'm fine, no worries, it's elective) so i'm not sure how long it will be before i can run again. we shall see!
  • ooooo!!! this looks like a great idea! i'm currently learning how to run for a half marathon in October 2015. i think i'm going to start small for this month at maybe 30 miles? i think this is just what i need to get me going again.
  • more friends! more friends!
  • I don't remember the details (I just know that there were Sour Punch straws involved), but my dad died unexpectedly in an accident and I gained 8lbs in less than a week.
  • bump dunno if i like pumpkin pie (not much of a pie fan), but i'll try it anyway! always on the lookout for new desserts.
  • personally i've found that if i eat more fats (butter, avocado, olive oil, you know, "good" fats) i have less of a craving for sweets.
  • hello! 29 y/o here. have about 60lbs to loose. no kids, but i'm always looking for more friends here! feel free to add me.
  • if i'm feeling lazy then i go to the market and get a kale salad from their salad bar. if i'm feeling a little less lazy i tend to have tuna salad with sugar snap peas (i dip them in the salad), a hard boiled egg and some sort of fruit. i got a bento box for my lunches and i just stuff that thing up. i'm going on the low…
  • I want to get back into consoles, but I find I don't have much time since I'm playing TERA Online so much. :)
  • I restarted this past July. Always looking for more friends on the journey. Feel free to add me!
  • http://thugkitchen.com/post/51561424744/dont-give-me-that-i-dont-eat-breakfast Quinoa Oatmeal. Tasty, less than 300 cal per serving and you get to dress it up in yummy things. I opted for some brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon this morning. Pretty sweet! I usually go eggs and bacon/sausage for breakfast since if i…
  • Tera Online! I love my little Elin archer soooo much! She's just so damn cute! :D
  • I got this bento box http://secure.laptoplunches.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=L600-jubilee&eq=&Tp= and I love it. It's super easy to pack. I usually do something like sugar snap peas (roughly 20 pods since that's what fits in one of the larger containers in the lunch box), a hard boiled egg and some fruit (cherries, grapes, slice…
  • Can't hurt to try, so count me in! Are you going to make this really organized and start a group for this along with weigh ins? or will it be really laid back and more of a friends list challenge? Either way, add me! :D
  • Me too!! Love fantasy novels, anime, manga, Tera Online, used to play WoW and I'm just starting to get into Steam. Grew up on Nintendo ( YAY Zelda!!) and have dabbled in PS3 (I love me some Final Fantasy!). I also cross stitch for a hobby and my stitches are always video game related. I've done a lot of Portal, some Mario,…
  • I typically have mine for breakfast!! Sweet potato hash! Sooo yummy and a nice change from plain old bacon (or sausage) and eggs. http://www.ziplist.com/souschef?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpaleomg.com%2Feasy-delicious-breakfast-hash%2F
  • Wow really? no replys and it's been a month? so sad that no one here plays Tera. I <3 Tera! Been playing since closed beta. send me a pm or a message if you wanna. Ayaka Mount Tyranas
  • I just started also. Completed W1D2 today! The first day I had to skip 2 run cycles (felt like my legs were going to fall off at the hip and my knees and ankles did not appreciate the run). Today I only skipped 1 run cycle and it was only my knees protesting, so improvements are already being seen! Depending on how W1D3…
  • I'm brand new to this too! never tried it before and looking forward to it. I plan on actually starting this weekend so I can get rid of my non paleo/primal foodstuffs without tossing it out. feel free to add me with a note that you're part of this group.
  • I had a lot of trouble with push ups too until I looked up a few sites that explained how to do them (I'd never been taught). My arm positioning was all wonky so I take time to make sure my hands are positioned properly before actually trying to push up. I've also noticed that my low back strength plays a big part (which…
  • The pain starts in my hip/butt region semi-laterally (like right about where you get a shot in your butt) and it shoots down my leg to my knees which is what causes them to buckle. I told the teacher and she suggested some stretches that target the hip muscles and poses that open the hips more, but they weren't a regular…
  • made these tonight in bulk (12 tortillas) and they were super yummy! unfortunately they were a little too small for what I needed them for (enchiladas) so I ended up buying some for dinner. But I think these are perfect for a little snack wrap or lunch.
  • I've heard that taking pictures of yourself and comparing them will help too. I'm about to take my second set and hopefully see a difference, feeling pretty deflated myself. I'm glad you posted this thread, everyone's responses are making me feel better too! :flowerforyou:

  • I PLAY TOO!! my main is a worgen boomkin on Kil'jaeden. it's a pvp server (not that I like pvp) and i'm on every now and then. I've actually started playing Tera Online again (check it out, it's gorgeous and the Elin race is super cute!) so i'm not on WoW as often anymore, but the Tera player base is on the small side so…
  • Finished Day 14 and actually was able to make it all the way through! I still don't have the shoulder endurance to make it all the way through the plank positions, but my wrists and hips aren't quite as painful as they were. I had a string cheese right before I exercised and I think it helped with the nausea problem. :)
  • Day 13 done, I guess. I haven't been able to make it through a full Level 2 since Day 1 of it. I just keep getting dizzy and sick... maybe I need to eat right beforehand... but that usually makes me feel ill also. Oh well, I'll try it out tomorrow and see if it helps.
