I attribute my first 50-80lbs lost simply to Wii Fit Plus. It's a great way for those who perhaps aren't up for or able to exercise to get into it. I did at least an hour a day, and really sent me on my way.

I'm back! Sadly, we found Denny's breaksfasts. Not good, but only put 4.4lbs on so I think fairly successful. Amazing country, thanks for all the tips folks were bared in mind. Just not at breakfast ;)

Thanks all, in order: I don't think the wife would like it, sorry! My first time in the States too so fun is definitely on my agenda. On the list! Thanks! Sounds great. In & Out was definitely something I wanted to try (they don't have franchises in the UK I don't think), now something to look for! Not sure, we're either…

Thanks all! But, I don't understand "Slap Chop" jid314?

I'm not a woman, but in the interests of sexual equality ( ) I've lost a shoe-size.

Forgive me, for I have sinned. I haven't been putting any weight on... but I also haven't been losing it. Kinda lost my way, whilst I haven't had an overly-indulgent diet I haven't had an overly controlled one either. I think I got demoralised when I hit the 10 stone (140lbs) lost barrier and didn't really lose again.…

I did it in 10 months - it can be done, and without silly starving yourself or dangerous faddy diets. Good luck with it! But it IS a lot of hard work, just take it one week or even one day at a time. :)

Not posted for a while, things gone strange for me but won't bore you with that. We got married anyway, that's been good. Today I was featured in Chat magazine. As I've said in my blog, I'm a bit embarrased as there are better slimmers on here than I've done, but it's nice anyway. I did mention MFP, but it didn't make the…

Didn't quiet make my 10lb target last month, but did 8lb so all's still good really. Only going for a 5lb loss this month though - I get married next Friday, and I'm not eating well as I'm off work and therefore out of routine for 3 weeks! It's certainly not gone well so far, tomorrow morning's weigh-in could be bad...

Hi from near Derby! Good Luck :)

Hi! There's a good little UK community here, sure you'll find lots of people welcoming you here. All the best with it, feel free to add me!

Not a picture update, but a bit of a milestone today - I've hit my 17 stone target that I had in time for my wedding, and three weeks early. Thanks for the support everyone

I've just changed from daily to weekly weighing. And when I say "just", I mean it - this is my first week! It's blinking horrible, not knowing what's going on - I've got to wait until Sunday! Luckily we've always done a weekly weigh-in at work (a bit of a hangover from a sponsored slim we did earlier in the year that I won…

Not a good month for me thus far. This time last month I'd about lost my 9lb target, this month I've only lost 4lbs. Certainly a good loss by most standards, but a little disappointing. Shouldn't be a surprise, I've had a bit of illness and not done much gym time. Really annoying anyway, I was expecting next month to be a…

When I was diagnosed with diabetes, I did a bit of reading on alcohol and found that it can have an effect on your blood sugar. Not enough to stop completely, but enough to limit your intake. So I just gave it up and haven't touched a drop since. Sure, it's been hard - I didn't drink more than once or twice a week, but…

4 days? I've got 4 weeks! Good luck with it, I know how stressful it is at this point, can't imagine what it's like at that close!

I'm naughty. I donated mine to a textile recycling firm that paid me so much per kg. The money raised went straight back into new clothes! But I give to charity at other times so I think I should be OK.

Posted earlier in the week, had a flu jab on Tuesday that I had a bad reaction to - and this morning was the first time I've had chance to do it again.

OK, time to start again. SW - 241.2 Day 1 - 30 minutes free step, 3765 steps, 175 calories.

Hello, I'm in the Midlands with an open diary. Add if you like!

Hi all, I've been ill so never did a third night - will start over again tonight if I get chance, or tomorrow. :drinker:

Thanks all. And as for Star Trek - I'm trying to stop being a "Fat Geek", but I'll always be a geek! :P

Day 2 SW 242.7 CW 244.7 :brokenheart: (but it's the peril of weighing daily, it'll be lower than SW in a day or two) Time - 30mins Calories - 218 Activites - Deep Breathing, Perfect 20, Jogging (Advanced), Jogging (Island), Advanced Step, Hula Hoop, Advanced Step
-
You look fantastic, an inspiration!

Thanks! But it's brought home that I suck at it now, my scores are nowhere near what they were when I was doing it daily! A nice challenge for the week, anyway, to try to get back what I used to be be able to do. It's like having back an old friend...

Right, done. 34 Minutes (Advanced Boxing, running (basic/advanced), Advanced Step, Advanced Rhythm Parade, Deep Breathing, Tree, Advanced Kung Fu) 226 calories.

After seeing someone on my friend list unable to do this I figured I'd give it a go. I owe the Wii everything, when I was 342.9lbs last Christmas I couldn't have dreamed of having any fitness, but it got me started and wouldn't have lost what I have without it. It also helps as I won't be able to gym too much this week…
