I've recently found fitnessblender.com great site great workouts! I have several Bob Harper DVDs. All one hour in length. Rotating between them and a couple of biggest Loser DVDs I lost 50lbs. I started running in August and now I change it all up all the time. I love my Bob Harper DVDS and they are really cheap on…

What an awesome inspiring story! Thank you for sharing!

I started taking Chromium in August. I noticed it has bumped up my average monthly weight loss from 2 to 3 pounds. I try to eat cinnamon every day or almost every day. Also I am horrid at remembering to take the chromium since it is suppose to be taken with a meal. Out of a week I probably take it 4 times. I feel like it…

The very moment you look your little one in the eyes your former life will disappear and you will wonder why you waited so long. I have three. They are frustrating, sometimes annoying, but the other 95% of the time they bring the greatest joy, wonder, excitement, and love to your world.

Cross training is very important to cardio. I'm not talking about just lifting, but strengthening your core. I do three days of circuit training which is weights and cardio at the same or alternating and three days of running. I couldn't be the runner I am without the muscle I have built by weights. The heaviest weight I…

Meal plan. My husband gets paid every two weeks. I make a menu and buy only what I need plus some things for lunches for the kiddos and myself, usually extra veggies I can nuke, etc. You could make a one week plan and probably freeze half for the next week then you would slowly build up "emergency" meals in the freezer for…

My numbers have never allowed me to be on prescription medication. I am one of those weird one that has every symptom of PCOS with good sugar levels so no metformin. I have recently started taking chromium. It does seem to help. I also take B12, but that is for mood. Chromium is to make your "sugar system" run more…

A lot of pcos women eat low glycemic diet, which I think is very beneficial to diabetics. I would ask for a nutritionist/dietician consult to help you on that journey.

Sent you a request.

I have never stepped foot inside a gym.. I've lost 50lbs working out to DVDs, always rotating and adding new ones for $10 or less per each and seven weeks I started using run double c25k and added running into the mix. I will use my husbands fire station "gym" when the weather gets too bad to run outside.

You might want to have your blood levels checked for a thyroid disorder.

I just sent you a friend request. I too have PCOS and your right about people not understanding. Are you on medication? I am one of those that always have "good" numbers, but every symptom! It is a little surprising I still have the diagnoses because of the numbers and no "need" for medication. As my dr. told me I have to…

I don't have one, but I'm thinking about it. I try to never eat my exercise calories. Typically successful in that. I think they would be fine.

Awesome story! Mine is much the same only I am 5'5" and have lost 49. Your pictures are great. I have about 15 more to lose and have done it the same way. My motto is dedication and hard work. Great job. You will be there soon!

I think you are much stronger than you believe you are. I think you need to start training your mind to say I can, I will instead of I'm not sure. You had a drawback of that big hill and although it threw your pace off....it stayed the same which to me says you compensated and moved forward and that alone is awesome! One…

Way to go! So proud of you! I want to join you next time.

You look great. Thanks for the encouragement! It is just a little blimp in the road. While you are running just jump back on the wagon.

I love your tracker!

I am 39 have PCOS. I lose on average only 2-3 pounds per month. I am on no medication as my sugar levels have always been fine. However my dr. told me I have to work four times harder than the average person to lose weight, because of the PCOS. Low glycemic diet is recommended for PCOS and move every day. I do have rest…

Thanks for this post. I looked on here, because I am struggling with the same issue. I was a 20W when I started and now a 12. I'm completely amazed when I go into a store and put on a "regular" size with no problems. I know I am "normal" size now, but I still feel like people stare at me, because why is the fat girl in the…

Awesome! I kept one pair of jeans. I can't wait until I can take one of those pictures and then burn them.

Those hormones are just horrid aren't they?! I will make a glass of chocolate milk I use soy milk and nesquick. I buy my boys kids clif z bars. One flavor is chocolate brownie and that will satisfy me for just 130 calories. Some months I honestly can't control it call it a loss and thank God tomorrow is a new day/beginning.

You can add me. Open diary and log in every day...my only exceptions are when I'm camping and have no service.

I sent you a friend request in response to this.
