Thanks for the advice. Both things named as well as other healthier snacks like greek yogurt, granola etc are already included also. I mean junk like baked lays, popcorn, 90 calorie fiber one brownies, crackers in the box..like more processed foods are my weakness and carbs

But..are your macros ever in the red? like carbs?

Tdee-20% for me is 1753 and my BMR is 1593 so that is why I came up with 1700 to put it it kind of close to both #'s. I was always told never go over 25% tdee deficit..Never even heard of a deficit of 30%. I will look into this if the 1500/1700 goals dnt work. Thanks :)

Righhhhht! I am glad you get what I am saying..That is my whole point! I still eat healthy foods also but with extra calories it allows me to throw other things in there that are not healthy and I would like to stay more healthy than anything but I seem to eat more things that I shldnt when allowed more calories to play…

That's your opinion to say I am giving it too much thought but when I have people telling me I am eating too less or too many carbs or too much processed and the scale is not moving on a constant basis-I am not sure that I can just realax because I am on mfp to LOSE weight. Just started the new calorie goals like 3 days ago...1500 on rest days and 1700 on workout days..I am the same as you..I have my days where I really feel like a bunny and then days I splurge a good bit..I'd like to be one to lose weekly but I go weeks without losing.

I wish I was one that could eat low like 1200 but I can't..At 1300 a day I was starving..I say 1700 when I exercise but with me burning maybe 170-220 exercising I worry if 1700 is too much even on the exercise days.

1200 wld be too low for me because when I was at 1300 that was too low.

& I agree with you 100% that junk food in moderation will prevent bad binges..I try to do like baked chips instead of regular, protein chocolate bars instead of snickers, wheat instead of white breads..just some examples, so I am trying to make better choices for the cravings I get sometimes..I even do like to 90 calorie…

Thanks..It's like when I see the macros go over in the red, I freak and it is sooo hard staying under, watching carbs and all that at the same time..I watch sodium because I have high blood pressure but I am trying to learn to not be so hard on myself. Like today I am over like 36 in carbs and that made me stress

& I pretty much eat healthy..Just with more calories I always have something bad in there each day it seems but it is within my calorie range but again also causes my macros to be over sometimes-mainly carbs

Thanks for your reply. I am working on getting my protein higher. I have a problem always being over in carbs so me seeing that in the red everyday makes me really feel I am doing bad.

4 ft 10 here! Starting weight 227.5 (yikes), Current weight 192, Goal weight 160 and UGW 150. Stuck trying to decide if I shld be eating MORE or LESS right about now. My tdee-20% is like 1700 but to me for the amount of weight I need to lose and being 4ft 10, that is ALOT of food! Sooo, I am stuck right now.
