At home for now, can't afford a gym membership until the youngest hits kindergarten next year. I work out with my Wii, Just Dance, and the 30DS. I take thendog for a walk a few times a week. Just have to get up and move!

It's possible that it's Celiac. I used to get mouth sores allll the time,.sore muscles, joints, migraines, etc. All you can do is stick tonal gluten free diet for 6 weeks andnsee what happens. And everytime you fall off the Wagon younhave to start all over again. It can take weeks to recover from gluten if you have a…

I have two, and I love them. It took me forever to decide what to get, and spent a long time planning them. I have no problems with other's tattoos. I wouldn't personally tattoo my face, for instance, but who am I to say if you want to? I think that done well, they can be beautiful. Meaning, don't just let your friend…

Wow, congrats! You two did a great job!

Eh, what people log, they log. It doesn't make any difference to anyone else. I personally only log cleaning when I do something out of my normal routine (I'm a stay at home mom, and I spend a lot of time on my feet, surprisingly enough! LOTS of cleaning!). Yesterday or Monday, I vacuumed the stairs. My vacuum weighs…

No idea that she even had a kid - BUT, no the kid won't be malnourished. However, if she isn't getting enough calcium/vit D from another source (loads of green veggies have calcium as well - Dairy is NOT the only way to get it), then her body will leach it from her bones to give the baby adequate calcium. Breast milk is…

Same here. I'm terrified of ice because of a bad fall where I broke my arm and injured my back. But, I try to make sure if I can't get out for a walk then I make up for it inside.

I'm all gluten free, also oat free (can't tolerate them), and allergic to buckwheat. I had to go totally gluten free then try things a little at a time to see if they affected me. It didn't take long to figure it out.

Oh yes. Migraines, anxiety, depression, arthritis, brain fog, and all that. I don't even try a little bit anymore. I've been GF for 3 years now. I still deal with arthritis but not nearly to the extent that I did when I was eating a 'healthy diet full of whole grains'. My thinking is clearer now/

Just Dance is a good workout too, Wii Active is good as well

good job! I'm on day 1 level 1. for like, the fifth time, lol.

I was on vicodin for 8 weeks a few years ago (broken arm, plus other issues after I fell and landed on said broken arm when it was nearly healed). I also suffer from chronic constipation, and have for a long time (interspersed with periods of chronic diarrhea. Its 'fun'). Colace is a stool softener, not a laxative. Miralax…

Mitch: You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning... Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you? Mitch: No... Chris Knight: Why am I the only one who has that dream?

I was 25 with my first, BUT I lived in an area with a high teen pregnancy rate. I was the oldest person in my birthing class! By 6 years. I felt very out of place since most important factor them shared classes...

I've been GF for 3 years now. I was so miserable before! Now there's no way that I'll intentionally eat gluten again. I get sick from even minute amounts. My GI thinks I'm probably Celiac (based on symptoms from before I was GF), but as my doc refused to test me and I went GF on my own, I'll never know for sure. If you're…

I prefer coconut milk but can only find almond milk here. Maybe just take a supplement? I can't drink milk, and only use it occasionally on cereals.

•Hydrolyzed vegetable protein •Flour or cereal products •Vegetable protein •Malt and malt flavorings •Starches (unless specified as corn starch, which does not contain gluten) •Various flavorings, which can be derived from cereals containing gluten •Vegetable gum •Emulsifiers, stabilizers derived from cereals containing…

my house is lopsided too, it can vary 3 lbs just in the bathroom in different spots :/. So frustrating!

Well, on a GF diet we tend to eat more starches (rice, potato, etc). Since I LOVE to experiment with my baking, its been hard for me lately. Being home more means I have more time to bake... and that's not so awesome for my tummy, lol. So, I've put on a bit that needs to come back off now. Try to stick to whole foods,…

HI! I'm 32, a SAHM to 2 boys (7 & 5), husband (kid #3??) and a dog :0) I don't have a lot to lose, but I'm always willing to add more friends! I need people to keep me accountable logging my food!!!

The easiest thing to do, since companies change ingredients frequently, is to call the 800 number on the back. If they can't give you a satisfactory answer, don't take it! More than likely, they're fine, but don't take them til you call the company (or email them).

Yeah, going GF now is SO much easier than when I first tried it 6 years ago. I am in awe of the drastic improvement I've seen in GF products (Udi's bread, pizza, etc), and general availability! When I first tried it I had to order everything online or drive an hour and a half to a decent health food store. Now, I can go to…

It can take anywhere from days to weeks to notice a difference. You sound a LOT like I did before I went gluten free. And you're right, the stuff that is naturally gluten free is what you want to stick to. Processed GF goodies are full of starches and not a lot of 'good for you' stuff. Before I went GF about 3 years ago, I…

Well, he *should* be able to exert some self-control, but gluten is so addictive. Once you eat that little bit, you want more. And more. And so on. His Dad might have to lock up the stuff he shouldn't have, maybe? And there's tons of dairy free milk choices (like Almond and coconut milk, which you can make yourself too).…

I don't know about thyroid issues, but they do seem to run in conjunction with Celiacs just from what I've seen. Have you spent any time at celiac.com? A large majority of people with Celiac have other autoimmune disorders as well. And from what I've read, if you have a parent with an autoimmune disorder, then your chance…

I used to, but now I only log it if I'm really working at it - like moving furniture and cleaning behind it. I do log walking my dog - because if I'm out walking for 45 -90 minutes that IS a good burn. It just *happens* to be walking with my dog. She'd be so sad if I didn't take her with me!
-
Well, my oldest is at school all day, and my youngest is 3 days a week in the morning so I walk with the neighbor and her little one (and take my dog). I don't walk with my youngest because he complains the entire. time. But he doesn't mind me doing an exercise video, he'll go play for 30 mins or so on his own.

We have a rescued lab shepherd (??) mix. We're guessing here! lol! She's a big baby who thinks she's a 45lb lap dog. Loves to run, but I prefer to walk due to a bad hip. She's smart, but stubborn. She's approx. 3 years old, we think... no one knows much of her history since she was dumped :/. Really THE best dog I've ever…

Anyone can add me too! I've been GF since Oct 2009, and I feel sooooo much better. I still get headaches though, but that's surprisingly unrelated now (jaw issues). Always told my tummy problems were anxiety too. Funny how that works! I DO have anxiety issues, but they are so much more heightened when I'm getting gluten.…

Can't have oats or wheat - I use rice. Or, I've also ground up GF rice krispies - that one turned out the best.
