  • I think I need to read this ten times to understand it.
  • Whoa! Wow! OMG! You look fantastic and should be SO proud of yourself!
  • Barb - I usually open our pool on April 19th every year. Might be earlier this year. We opened the cover yesterday and it is clean and ready to go, other than a few leaves and a few icebergs! Last year I did a mini book camp with a local personal trainer - 5 of us in the group. We met here twice for boot camp in the pool…
  • Here you are Janice! love your picture!
  • I had met my first goal that I set during the first rotation. I added a new goal and I haven't checked my weight yet to see if I have met that, but I'm with you. I have to keep up or I can be a slacker! And tracking my food on mfp is a huge help. I eat so much better. I think if someone did this and didn't even exercise…
  • I started with 5's and 8's but have been encouraged by everyone, especially Barb, and I am now using 8's and 10's! Got through today's workout using 10's all the way through (of course it was core and total so not as much lifting). I can definitely tell the difference!
  • I'm not sure. I have not even been following this routine to the tee - sometimes throwing in my treadmill workouts instead. I do like having something just lined up though because I have a tendency to flounder about if someone isn't literally telling me what to do! I miss my core power yoga though. I have not been able to…
  • I am not sure that 115 lbs is realistic for you, at 5'6! But it does sound like you need to eat more! You are burning calories while sweating it out on the treadmill, but you are not eating enough of them back. Are you tracking your exercise against your food and if so what is your calorie deficit? And you need some good…
  • I'll be anxious to see if we have any friends that have hit the 10# loss! that will be SO exciting! It is hard to do that in 28 days I think. I have only weighed myself at the mid way point and will again at the end......but sitting here tonight I feel better, but don't feel like I have lost any weight. After these lower…
  • You are right, I see a lot of kickboxing on the schedule! I also see that there is no rest day! I am going out of town for Fri/Sat/Sun and I am stressing about missing the workouts!
  • From all that I have been reading just in the past couple of days (on this site), I think that you need to up your calories. It sounds like you are too far below your calorie count. All of the links at the top of the list can help you to understand this. I started a challenge two weeks ago and now realize that I was not…
  • Beck's has a very low calorie beer that I noticed won or was at the top of all the taste tests I saw at Super bowl time. I am going to try it. I am a wine drinker and I am cutting back. But if I do have a glass I am going to add it into my calorie count. I do believe it metabolizes differently though and still presents a…
  • But if you eat them back then you don't lose any weight?!
  • I am wondering this too! By the time I add in my exercise burn I am quite a bit below my calorie intake because I am really trying to watch what I eat. But isn't the objective to be below so that you can lose the lbs? I have read some comments about people not eating enough - but if you don't have a calorie deficit than…
  • How do you make your diary open? NEVER MIND i FIGURED IT OUT! haven't done much navigating around the site because I was only doing it for myself. I never even considered looking at someone else's diary, or vice versa but I guess it's okay.
  • I joined MFP to track my exercise and food, without any intention of monitoring what anyone else is doing. I'm kind of confused by this whole thread.
  • I'll take any advice I can get! Love to hear different ideas, thoughts, and helpful hints. Thanks and keep them coming!
  • Okay! I didn't know that you can make your diary public, or how to see others. That was what I was asking.
  • How can you even look at someone's food diary, and why would you? I'm just asking, not accusing. It's never crossed my mind to look at someone's food diary. Your point is well taken though. I also am always trying to figure this out: We all know that you have to take in calories or your body will just shut down and try to…
  • I am a yoga fan! Over the years I have found that yoga is my favorite workout of all. I hope you all will give it a chance and you will see how great it makes you feel.
