First of all you look fabulous in the weight you've lost so far OP :) Your smile says you are uber proud so keep up the good work. My biggest excuses were that I was too busy being responsible for two daughter who are both active and I needed to be at their games and driving them to where they needed to be.....second…

congrats...you look great and you should be proud of yourself! :)

everybody who does the program fears that week! Try it...if you run the whole time then great....if you need to walk...then walk to rest and start running again when you can. Running is mental and you will find out that you can do things you didn't think you could do when your head gets out of the way :) Just try....don't…

Congrats!!! You should be proud! As a fellow newbie runner you make me proud :)

Wow...this is the group of friends for me :) I'm 45...5'3" on a good day....I started at 204 in February and I'm down to 151 now and my original goal was 140. The loss is getting slow now that I'm in my "home stretch" but if all is successful I might lower my goal once I hit it but will worry about that when I get to 140…

Congrats and you should be so very proud. You look and feel great and there must not be a more awesome feelingl!!!!!!! You go girl!

I started the C25k in April.....I'm running 7 miles now and I started out at 204lbs so believe me that you WILL get stronger. That's (in my opinion) what happens....yes you'll notice your times get faster, the distance you can go will increase, and maybe most importantly the "rest time" you are doing when walking makes…

you look great so be proud and continue to rock that bikini :)

First allow me to say that you are amazing and I wish you the best in all you are doing! Second, I am going through early menopause (at last I sure feel it's early but that runs in my family) and I haven't had a cycle since June and it's my second time "missing them" in the course of 2013 so while I'm not sure that I'm…

Mine says 175....I'm currently 150 but when it was taken I was 204 so mine has never been right.....ok I was 175 for a week in May maybe :)

might I suggest vigorous exercise instead of 800 calorie moments? I have found (and been successful thus far) that my stress/frustration/emotional irritation/anger/etc etc are managed by putting all the feelings into a run. If running isn't your thing then do whatever it is (weights, zumba, walking, etc) that you like and…

This is also me :) I've lost 52 lbs and running is my exercise of choice. At 52 lbs heavier I started off with walking and have added on running, C25K, bridged up to 10k and run 3-6 mile runs about 4 times a week depending on my mood. HOWEVER, I also had to figure out my calorie intake at 5'3" and stick to it....it's the…

First let me say I'm not an expert and I'm still on my journey with about 11lbs left to lose....but that said....consider stopping the "diet" like low carb or others.....go out to http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ and put in your stats and you will get a calorie count you can eat. Stay within that calorie…

congrats on your run!!!! I think running is the best stress reliever (and cheapest therapist) there is :):drinker:

I couldn't resist coming back to this thread to read others thoughts even though I posted soon after it was created. I see now that everyone feels the same...that this is such a wonderful post and frankly it BRINGS BACK recent memories of when I (and we all) got started and were afraid to run/walk/ride where people could…

This made me teary eyed while reading....there is something incredibly powerful about this woman who can inspire others to be more than they are just because she's riding a bike. I wish I were her. God luv ya for not only noticing, but for silently cheering her on, and for making her an anonymous hero :drinker:

I think weight fluctuation is normal from day to day based on what you eat and drink...so a 3lb loss or gain in one day isn't "real" but part of the learning process as we go through the weight less journey. Be consistent in your diet and exercise and you will win the battle in the long run....I have much concern for…

Congratulations...you look beautiful!

You need to enjoy your time...it's about you. You can listen to the music YOU like, listen to that book YOU want to read, release some stress YOU have, enjoy the route YOU want to take and go at the speed YOU want to. You must have a reason to go exercise alone and unless you find your inner reason for wanting that for…

way to go! Just "keep on keepin' on" with the good habits :)

WOW....you look great and congrats on your success thus far! You should be very proud of yourself and that flat tummy you've created and worked hard for

well I give you my info you can decide if I'm the girl for you and friend me if you feel it's beneficial....I won't be offended if you are looking for someone more advanced than me so no worries :) I just started running in April with a C25K...finished that....just ran my first 5k in August. I've bridged up to 10k so I run…

First, find the number of calories you can eat each day (do not use the MFP calculator....go to scooby workout and use the TDEE/BMR method) and eat that number of calories each day. Second, drink water....all day long....as much as you can to flush out your system (and it makes you skin lovely :) ) Third, walk I started in…
