I am greatful for a husband who is also on MFP. I also learned today that I lost another pants size - and am now a size 10 - 12. Yeah!!

Just go for it. When I want mickey D's, I'll get something small. After I eat it, I'm reminded about how bad it really tastes ( I don't really like it...) and then I'm good for at least another month. There's aways tomorrow.

It's hard to say. You just gotta try it and see what works for you. I am using Sedetary since I sit at a desk all day. I will log my workouts, walking upstairs, and calories burned cleaning. I underestimate my time spent, so if I did 2 hours of cooking and cleaning, I will only log 90 minutes. Then, I only eat back no more…

Same thing happened to me. So, I just eat back a portion of my exercise calories. Most likely, I was under estimating my calories - you might be doing that too. :smile:

My biggest challenge today is eating dinner, then eating off of my kiddo's plates so I don't have to throw away food. I'm gonna try not eating dinner until AFTER they eat - so I eat what's left off of their plates? Or do I just put it in a container (which gets tossed anyway)? Or just throw it away? Ugh!!

I typically eat a salad for lunch. The office building has an amazing cafeteria, so I buy it - fill it with veggies and grilled peppers (with oil) and leave the dressing off. Have desert! I have desert all the time - in total moderation. Count your calories, then take your bites. I will eat more than a few bites if I know I am working out AND it's one my children's birthday. I find that if I don't give myself treats every couple days or so - I will binge. I chew slowly and enjoy the sugar rush…

I don't have a scare but I measure everything I eat using tbsp and measuring cups. I also count out items like crackers and cookies and put them in sandwich bags. I also eat unsalted nuts every day - about 170 calories worth and it helps me stay satisfied. Good luck Erin! :glasses:
