  • I love popcorn with some olive oil drizzled on it. I got an air-popper for Christmas - I love it! This is my go-to snack. I'm also a fan of almonds - I like the raw, unsalted ones from Aldi. Especially with some string cheese. When I'm feeling reckless, I have a serving of oyster crackers with a serving of chocolate chips.…
  • I couldn't agree with this more! Cheating has such a bad connotation! If it fits, or it's in moderation, is it really cheating? Maybe just "life."
  • tried to quote... didn't work. someone suggested almonds & chocolate chips. that's my favorite idea. add little oyster crackers and i'm a happy camper!
  • awesome!!!
  • I'm 5'9.5" and 38. I started at 204. My first goal is 183 - where I was two years ago after a good weight loss (starting weight then - 209). I'm currently at 183.2. My next goal is 174. That's half-arbitrary (same weight as my shorter-than-me husband) and also where I was 10 years ago after a loss (from 202). From what I…
  • it's amazing how much younger you all look! so inspiring!
  • totes baby bump definately defiantly ^when the person meant "definitely" boast (to describe an inanimate object - like, "the great room boasts 20' tall windows) anytime the apostrophe is used to show pluralization instead of possession. (crap, did i spell possession right?) and... cheat day. i don't like the word "cheat."…
  • It's great to see and feel it yourself, but that feeling is made so much better when someone else notices! Way to go!
  • cream cheese! more specifically, homemade chip dip (cream cheese + milk + onion powder + garlic powder) and chips (baked, of course!).
  • I had success with WW twice. The first time I lost 27 lbs in 3 months, then I stopped my membership. (Got it for free through work - changed jobs.) I kept it off for a while, but eventually put the weight back on. Two years ago I did well again - lost 25 lbs. And eventually got off of the program and the weight creeped…
  • I'm in the same boat. Same start time and everything! My goals (and stats) are different, and I haven't made it to 16 lbs lost yet, but I am having the same issue. I'm anxious to see the responses!
  • Funfetti cake mix with a can of Diet Sprite or Sprite Zero is yummy, as is white cake mix with diet orange. I've made both kinds, as well as chocolate cake with Diet Cherry Coke, without adding egg whites. They need a little more time to cook, but they are good! Especially with fat-free whipped topping as icing! Yummy!
  • a friend is following another weight loss plan and has a cheat day on the weekend. i don't like to hear that term because it implies that you're doing something wrong. why give yourself an out? or an opportunity to think you're swaying from your plan? just know that you're gonna have pizza and plan the rest of your day…
